One of the things my mom gifted me for my birthday is this stunning Diorskin Forever Undercover Concealer. Those of you who know me, know that I’m a real fan of Dior. Especially their base makeup products are huge favourites of mine. A while ago I tried the Dior Star Concealer which I really loved. However, they discontinued it and this Diorskin Forever Undercover Concealer came as its replacement. I’ve been trying it for more than a month now and therefore it’s time for the review. If you’re interested in finding out what I think of this Diorskin Forever Undercover Concealer, make sure you continue reading this post!
Before we jump into any details regarding the product whatsoever, let’s start off by talking about the packaging. Like most Dior products, this concealer came in one of those classic shiny navy boxes. When you open it up the concealer reveals itself. Where the Diorskin Star Concealer came in this short but thick packaging, this Diorskin Forever Undercover Concealer has a more traditional design. It comes in a sleek, slim but long bottle. The bottle is made out of something that looks like frosted glass. It has some silver details and the cap is navy, but aside from that it’s very simple. The only thing that’s on it is the name of the brand. Dior. I really do dig this sleek look!
When you twist off the cap the wand reveals itself. It’s also a very slim and long wand which is very logical considering the shape and length of the bottle. The wand has a doe-foot applicator on it which, again, is very standard. Even though it is a standard applicator, I do love it. There’s nothing wrong with standard things. I mean, it’s better to use something standard that works than to come up with something new that doesn’t work. Right?
All in all I do like the over all look of the packaging. It’s sleek, it’s simple and it’s elegant. I think that it really does have that Dior-vibe going and I’m a big fan of that. The size seems fine to me as well. It comes with 6 ml which I think is pretty average for a concealer.

The shade range in this Diorskin Forever Undercover Concealer is not all that impressive. In their recent Backstage collection they did finally come out with a ton of shades and in their Undercover Foundation range they also showed improvement. But from what I can find online the shade range in this concealer doesn’t wow me. Especially when it comes to the deeper shades there isn’t a lot of choice. I really wish Dior would add some more shades to their range in the deeper colour spectrum.
Anyway, the shade that I got is called 010 Ivory. It’s their lightest shade and as always it isn’t really that light. It’s okay, I can get away with it, but it’s not very inclusive of them to make their lightest shade not that light. Most of their products, including this one, does have a bit of a yellow undertone. This could be a downside for those who have a very pink undertone, but I do think there’s something positive about it for everyone. When you look at colour correcting you can use yellow underneath your eyes to help with the dull appearance of under eye circles. Of course this isn’t a colour corrector, but the fact that it has a yellow undertone does help with the covering up of the dark circles.
According to Dior their Forever Undercover Concealer is a veritable concentrate of Dior laboratories’ expertise. It’s supposed to have an intuitive formula that isn’t afraid of any challenge. With a single stroke it should provide instant camouflage for imperfections. It should be water resistant and have 8 hour wear. Aside from camouflaging it can also be used to sculpt features, accentuate shadowy areas and hollows. It has a matte finish.

Another thing I really like about this concealer is its texture. It’s a very creamy texture that does, in a way, remind me a little bit of the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer. The main texture-difference between these two is that this one is a little bit more smooth than the Nars concealer. And I like that about it. It’s easy to work with and it feels really comfortable underneath the eyes.
After applying and blending the concealer it dries matte. Thanks to this I feel like the concealer is super, super longlasting. It really does adhere to the skin and keep your dark circles concealed at all time. To me this really is a bullet-proof product.
All in all I’m happy about the Dior Forever Undercover Concealer. I really like the formula of it and the amount of coverage it provides is just perfect for me. I also like that it dries matte and that it stays in place all day long. I have to say if you have tried a ton of luxury concealers that this one isn’t going to rock your world, but it definitely is an amazing product.
With that being said I think it’s time to end today’s post. Be sure to let me know what you think of this concealer and which concealer is your favourite!
