I recently showed you guys that I got myself the IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ cream. It is an has always been one of the most popular CC creams out there and I just couldn’t not give it a try. So, I bought it, tried it, put it to the test and now it’s finally time for the review. If you’re interested in finding out how I like this CC cream and whether or not it’s worth the hype, make sure you continue reading!
The IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream comes in a long tube with a silver lid and a pump. I really like that it comes with a pump rather than just an opening because it’s way more hygienic and it just looks a little more professional. Overall the tube is quite long but doesn’t seem to have that much product in it. It does contain 32 ml which is pretty average, but it doesn’t look like that in my opinion.
So, onto the product itself. This is, like we all know, the IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream. For those of you who don’t know, CC cream means colour correcting cream. I personally don’t think there is a big difference, or even a difference, between a CC cream, a BB cream or a foundation, but that isn’t important for now.
So, this CC cream claims to be 7 things in one. It says that it’s a:
- Full coverage foundation
- SPF 50+ physical sunscreen
- Brightening colour corrector
- Hydrating anti-aging serum
- Pore minimising primer
- Dark spot corrector
- Moisturising day cream
These claims are quite basic for CC/BB creams, but if they’re true I do think it’s great that a product like this can do all of that. When it comes to the SPF claim, well I obviously can’t check whether or not that’s really true, but it probably will be true. SPF 50 is great and I think it’s great that products like foundation (or CC cream) come with such a high amount of SPF nowadays. I’m definitely one of those people who forget to put on sunscreen everyday, so for me it’s essential.
If IT Cosmetics isn’t lying to us, you could use this CC cream instead of your moisturiser and primer. I personally never believe in such claims and even if they’re true, I always think it’s best to at least apply a bit of moisturiser anyway. However, it is great for those times when you’re away from home and you forgot to bring either your primer or moisturiser.
When it comes to shade selection I think IT Cosmetics did a decent job. It comes in five shades and even though that’s not an awful lot, they did cover most skin tones. The one I have is called fair and is light enough for very pale skin. The deepest shade is called rich and isn’t deep enough for everyone, but it’s not as bad as it could’ve been.
Because it’s marketed as a full coverage foundation I expected the foundation to be quite thick and heavy. However, it ended up being way more fluid than I expected. It’s not runny or watery at all, it’s just the perfect foundation texture. It’s very blendable, it feels very light-weight on the skin and it has the perfect demi-matte finish. I like it a lot!
Coverage wise I think this foundation is perfectly fine. It’s one of the best medium to high coverage foundations I own. It covers pretty much everything on my face with just two and a half pump of product and if I really want something to be gone it’s also buildable.
Like I said the foundation has a rather demi-matte finish. That means that it’s quite matte, but it does have a bit of glow to it so you still look healthy and alive. The thing I like about it is that it’s a very flawless foundation. It’s the only foundation I can apply using a brush without getting patches or streaks. It also looks good on my nose which is very rare for a foundation and it doesn’t crack throughout the day. What I’m trying to say is: it’s not your regular full coverage foundation. It’s way better!
The staying power of this foundation is actually quite mind blowing. It stays perfect all-day. Literally all day. Whatever it is that you’re doing, no matter what temperature it is, this won’t budge. It’s actually pretty incredible and I really like that about it. It’s really one of those fool-proof foundation that you just don’t have to worry about. If I ever get  married this is definitely a foundation I’d consider wearing on that day!
By the way on this picture I applied the rest of my makeup, so I powdered it, I applied concealer, did my brows, eyeshadow, etc. However I didn’t spot conceal or anything like that (because I’m horrible at that), and as you can tell the coverage of the foundation is amazing! I love it!
I think it’s clear that I’m a HUGE fan of this CC cream. I’ve been calling it a foundation the whole time, but it’s a CC cream. It has great coverage, I like the SPF 50 and it just looks flipping amazing on the skin.I literally haven’t tried anything remotely better than this and I highly doubt I ever will. I’m head over heals in love with this foundation!

Wow the cc Cream takes away a lot of your blemishes!
