In the past couple of weeks I went shopping quite a few times. I went to Amsterdam with my best friend and I went to the city I live in (Eindhoven) a couple of times to pick some things up. I mainly bought clothes in Amsterdam because I really needed some new clothing, but because I’m terrible at taking pictures of clothing I decided to just show you guys the beauty bits and bobs that I got. If you’re interested in finding out what I bought, make sure you keep on reading!
Let’s start off with the first things I got. I really needed something to deeply moisturise my hair since my hair has been quite dry recently, so I decided I wanted to buy a hair mask. The drugstore had a buy 1, get 1 free sale going on, so obviously I bought two masks.
I ended up buying two John Frieda masks. When it comes to hair care I always try to stay away from silicones, but that’s pretty much impossible when it comes to finding a hair mask in the drugstore. The first one I got is the Full Repair one and the other one is called Frizz Ease Miraculous Recovery. I’ve used them a couple of times now so I will review them soon!
The John Frieda Hair Masks (or deep conditioners, whatever) cost about €9 each.
Onto some makeup purchases. Both products aren’t new to me, they’re actually very big favourites of mine. First of all I bought a backup of the Maybelline Brow Satin. I can’t live without this stuff. I ran out of mine so I decided to stock up on a new one so I won’t run out of it completely at one point.
I also got a new Maybelline Color Tattoo in On and On Bronze. Mine is nearly empty and since it’s a product I use on a daily basis I thought it might be nice to buy a new one before it’s too late.
The Maybelline Brow Satin costs €11,99.
The Maybelline Color Tattoo costs €9,99.
Next up are four shower gels. I went a little crazy on the shower gels this month perhaps. First of all I bought three Palmolive shower gels. They were on sale for only one Euro instead of three so that meant I just had to get them. All of them smell absolutely amazing and they’re feel really great on the skin. I already reviewed them, so if you want to know more about them check out that post!
The other shower gel I got is by the brand Treets Traditions in the scent Nourishing Spirits. I have reviewed this already as well. It’s a very nice and soft shower gel, or cream actually, and it smells really nice. I highly recommend giving it a try!
The Palmolive Shower Gels usually cost €2,99 each.
The Treets Traditions Shower Gel costs €5,99.
One of my favourite purchases is for sure this perfume. It’s See By Chloé from the brand Chloé (obviously). The signature Chloé scent is like my all time favourite perfume and the scent I wear almost every day, but since it’s quite a strong and heavy scent I really wanted something a little lighter.
I ended up picking this scent up at the drugstore in Amsterdam for way less than it usually costs. I’m so glad I got it, it smells absolutely incredible!
See By Chloe costs €36,-.
Next up is my second favourite purchase. Well, maybe it’s just as amazing as the Chloé perfume. It’s the Bobbi Brown Long Wear Even Finish foundation. I really wanted a rather matte foundation and because Bobbi Brown has such a large colour selection I decided I wanted one from Bobbi Brown. It was a bit of a struggle to get the right colour because the lady at the counter wasn’t very nice, but you’ll be able to read more about that once the review of it goes up.
I also bought this adorable Essie nail polish in the shade Muchi, Muchi. I had to buy a nail polish for my grandma for mothersday and because there was a buy 1 get 1 free sale going on I ended up buying one for myself too.
The Bobbi Brown Long Wear Even Finish Foundation costs €43,50.
The Essie nail polish in Muchi, Muchi costs €10,-.
Onto a few more skincare products. I ran out of my current favourite toner water stuff that I use in the morning, so I decided to pick up a different one since I didn’t really feel like repurchasing the one that I had. I ended up buying the L’Oreal Sublime Soft Tonic. I really like it so far!
I also picked up 2 bottles of the Vichy Normaderm Deep Cleansing Purifying Gel that I reviewed not too long ago. I bought two because the 2nd one was only 4 Euro’s instead of 15, so I thought that was quite a good deal.
The last skincare product I got is the Lush Eau Roma Water. I really wanted to try one of Lush’s tonics so I decided to buy one. Because it was extremely busy in the store I didn’t think too long about which one I wanted to get and I ended up buying this one. So far I’m really liking it!
The L’Oreal Sublime Soft Tonic costs €5,29.
The Vichy Normaderm Deep Cleasing Purifying Gel costs €14,95.
The Lush Eau Roma Water costs €13,25.
Lastly I got myself a new concealer. I’ve been wanting to buy the Lancome Long-Lasting Softening concealer for a while now because I’ve read such a lot of amazing things about it that I ended up just ordering it. I had a 5 Euro off coupon so I got it for quite a good price. I’m really excited to start using it!
The Lancome Long-Lasting Softening Concealer costs €36,-.
And that was everything I bought beauty wise. I also bought two pants and two sweaters, but that’s it. I hope you enjoyed reading today’s post and let me know which products you’ve bought recently!
XOXO, Nicole.
