Summer break is probably the time of the year where I do most of my shopping. With a lot of spare time on hand that seems pretty logical to me. Anyway, I won’t ramble on too much about it so let’s just say I shopped. Quite a lot actually. At first I didn’t really want to do a haul on it since I’ve done quite a lot of hauls lately and that might make it seem like I have some serious problems, but because I’m extremely excited about all of the stuff I got and because I went to Germany and shopped at DM and Rossmann (where they stock Zoella nowadays) I felt like it might be fun to share what I got anyways. So, without further ado, if you’re interested in finding out what I got, make sure you continue reading!
Let’s start off with some of the stuff I got online. For quite some time I’ve been really interested in trying out the Clinique Lip Pop lipsticks, but I can never decide on the shade. While browsing through their site I came across this little set called the Clinique Pop Sampler and it’s a little tin filled with two smaller-sized lipsticks from the Lip Pop range and two lipglosses or liquid lipsticks from that same range. I figured that this would be quite a great way to try these lipsticks out so I bought it.
Also from Clinique I got the Chubby Sampler set. Aside from the Lip Pop lipsticks I’ve always been interested in trying out their Chubby Sticks. Not just the ones for the lips, also the cheek version. This set seemed perfect. It comes with one Chubby Stick for the lips, one for the cheeks and a little mascara. All are mini-sizes by the way. I really like the look of this set and I can’t wait to try everything out.
Clinique Pop Sampler Set €20 – Clinique Chubby Sampler Set €15
If you thought that was it for the Clinique part of this haul, you’re wrong. I actually got two more things. First of all I got another set, this is the limited edition set called the Getaway Sheers. I bought the brights version back in Warsaw but this one seemed really amazing too. It comes with a mascara, a mini lipstick and an eye pencil and all three products look really, really good to me.
The last Clinique item I purchased is this lipstick from the Butter Shine Lipstick in the shade Strawberry Ice. It was on sale and it actually looked really good to me so I figured I should buy it. I’m really curious to find out what this looks like on my lips!
Clinique Getaway Sheers Set €21 – Clinique Butter Shine Lipstick €22 (on sale for €11)
Moving on to another sale purchase. About a month ago I bought one of the Charlotte Tilbury Instant Look In A Palette palettes and I fell in love with it. When I got an email saying they added another one of those palettes to the sale I couldn’t contain myself. So, I bought it. This one is called Natural Beauty and comes with some softer and lighter shades than Seductive Beauty – the one I already have – does, and I love it!
Another item I recently purchased from the sale department is this Lancome Shine Lovers Lipstick in the shade Twisted Beige. You guys have no idea how bad I wanted this. Ever since it launched it has been a dream of mine to get it, but I never really ended up doing it. I absolutely love sheer lipsticks with a shiny finish so this really is everything I could ever want. When I saw it for only a fraction of the price at Lookfantastic I had to order it and I couldn’t be happier about it!
Charlotte Tilbury Instant Look In A Palette €69 (on sale for €41) – Lancome Shine Lovers Lipstick €27,45 (on sale for €16,95)
Moving on to another exciting product. This is the Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay In Place Makeup foundation. This might be one of my most wanted foundations for years, but for some reason I never bought it. Until recently when I decided to just cut the crap and buy it already. I bought it on Lookfantastic because they don’t have my shade her in the Netherlands and it was more affordable there.
What they didn’t have on Lookfantastic was a pump for this foundation. I do think it’s completely nonsense to have to spend even more money to get a pump, but it does work more efficiently. At Douglas they did have the matching pump so I ordered that one there.
Estée Lauder Double Wear Foundation €36 – Estée Lauder Double Wear Pump €5,05
Moving on to some more affordable makeup. At Iciparis they were having a big Bourjois clear-out I believe because lots of Bourjois products were heavily discounted. Bourjois has always been one of my favourite drugstore brands so I decided to buy some products. First of all I got one of the Bourjois Aqua Blushes in the shade Cocoricorail. It’s a really pretty coral colour and I can’t wait to test this product out!
Also from Bourjois I bought two of the Bourjois Rouge Edition Soufflé De Velvet Lipsticks. These are from their liquid lipstick range but from what I read they are a little more sheer which I really like. I bought one in the shade Vipeach and the other one in the shade Ravie en Rose.
Bourjois Aqua Blush €12,25 (on sale for €3,68) – Bourjois Soufflé de Velvet Lipsticks €15,45 (on sale for €4,63)
A couple of days after ordering those Bourjois products I placed another order on the Iciparis website including another one of the Bourjois Aqua Blushes. This time I bought it in the shade Ingé-Nude. I actually meant to order the shade Berry Nice but for some strange reason it turned into Ingé-Nude, but that’s fine too. It’s a really pretty nude colour that looks really pretty as well.
Along with that I also bought myself two new YSL lipsticks. Those lipsticks are just my absolute favourite so I really wanted to add some more colours to my collection. The first one I got is in the shade Smoking Plum and it’s a gorgeous deep plum shade, perfect for autumn and winter.
The other shade I got is called Lavalliere Nude. This is a lot more natural and more of an everyday colour so I thought that might be a great shade to add to my collection as well. By the way, before you think I’m absolutely nuts for ordering all of this, I had some coupon codes for €15 off and the lipsticks were 25% off as well!
Bourjois Aqua Blush €12,25 (on sale for €3,68) – YSL Lipsticks €38,15 (on sale for €28,61)
Lastly for the online shopping part of this haul is a Nars product. For years I’ve known about sites such as allcosmeticswholesale and Brigittes Boutique, but I never really ordered something from there because I thought the shipping rates were super high. But recently while scrolling through the store I found something really pretty. A blush by Nars from an old limited edition. A collaboration with Pierre Hardy. And this blush looked amazing.
I ended up putting it in my cart and I decided to look and see how much the shipping would cost. This wasn’t too extreme so I ended up actually buying the product. Because I paid less than €22 for it I don’t have to pay import duties and stuff so that’s great too.
Nars Pierre Hardy Blush in Boys Don’t Cry – €16,88 (€23,85 incl. shipping)
Having discussed all of the online purchases, let’s move on to the Germany part of this haul. When I go to Germany I always stock up on some of my favourite products because they are much cheaper there than they are in the Netherlands. One of those things is my favourite shampoo and conditioner by L’Oreal. Because I had nothing left I bought 4 of the L’Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Clay Conditioners.
Because I love the shampoo as well I bought two bottles of that too. I only bought two of the shampoo because a bottle of shampoo lasts me longer than a bottle of conditioner and I do like to switch up my shampoo but not my conditioner.
L’Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Clay Shampoo & Conditioner €2,35
Moving on to another staple: shaving foam. I always buy these cheap bottles but this time they also had a scented version of it. Because I’m not sure whether I like that or not I bought one of the regular ones and one scented one. It’s just a really basic but effective shaving foam and I actually really like using it.
The last thing I like to stock up on while I’m in Germany is toothpaste and toothbrushes. I bought two tubes of my favourite Signal White Now toothpaste which is great for whitening your teeth a little and I bought a pack of three toothbrushes.
Balea Shaving Foam €0,75 – Signal White Now €1,95 – Perlodent 3-Pack Toothbrushes €0,95
Next up is this hair dye. This is the Schwartzkopf Perfect Mousse hair dye in the shade Chocolate Brown. I really like this hair dye and it’s super easy to use so I decided to buy another pack of it. Just like lot’s of other things hair dye is way cheaper in Germany so I’d rather buy it there than here in the Netherlands.
Schwartzkopf Perfect Mousse Hair Dye – €4,25
Moving on to some skincare products. First of all I bought the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Cleansing Lotion. I have seen it at German drugstores before but back then I wasn’t too sure about it, but when I saw it was on sale I had to buy it. It seems like a really nice product for cleansing the skin and it smells really nice. Aside from that I do think that Neutrogena is a great brand so I’d love to try more of their products!
Another skincare item I bought is the L’Oreal Hydra Genius Aloe Water. I have never seen it before but it looked really appealing and the texture of the product felt really nice on my hand. It reminded me a bit of my Biotherm Aquasource Deep Serum which is rather expensive, so I’m curious to see if this will do a similar thing for my skin.
Neutrogena Hydro Boost Cleansing Lotion €2,90 – L’Oreal Hydra Genius Aloe Water €9,85
Moving on to some body care products. First of all I got a body lotion from the Dove Derma Spa range. It’s their Summer Revival body lotion and it is one of those tanning body lotions. My skin doesn’t tan at all but this one does smell really good and it’s at least worth the try. I’m really excited to see what this will do for my skintone.
I also bought a shower gel from Zoella’s Sweet Inspirations collection. I have ordered it before but because that package got lost in the mail and it was sold out afterwards I never actually got it. Recently Rossmann has added some of Zoella’s products to their collection so I was able to buy it anyway. This is the Bath Latte Shower Milk and it looks absolutely adorable!
Dove Derma Spa Summer Revival Body Lotion €4,95 – Zoella Sweet Inspirations Bath Latte €6,99
Lastly I bought three makeup items. First of all I finally got the NYX HD Concealer. I’ve been wanting to get this for ages and now I finally decided to actually do it. I bought it in the lightest shade available called 01 and I’m really excited to give it a try. I know I’ve been buying a lot of concealer lately, but I go through concealers so quick. Aside from that I just think that concealer is a great product so I can never have enough of it!
Next up is a nail polish from Maybelline. Because I don’t wear that much nail polish anymore I don’t buy a lot of nail polishes nowadays, but this one is an exception. It looked so pretty I just had to get it. It’s one of Maybelline’s Super Stay Forever Strong nail polishes in the shade Mauve On which is a gorgeous mauvy purple shade. I love it!
And the last product I bought is this EOS Lip Balm in Strawberry Sorbet. It’s a EOS lip balm in a stick rather than a ball and I liked the look of that. I really like EOS lip balms in general so this seemed like a great purchase for me.
NYX HD Concealer €6,85 – Maybelline Super Stay Nail Polish €3,45 – EOS Lip Balm €2,95
And that’s everything I bought in Germany and online. I hope you enjoyed reading today’s post and be sure to let me know which items you like the most and which ones you want me to review!
Oehh!
