The last couple of weeks I’ve been shopping quite a bit. There were quite a few items on my wishlist that I really wanted to buy and there were lots of great sales going on everywhere. Because I bought quite a few exciting items I thought it’d be nice to show you guys what I bought. If you’re interested in finding out, make sure you keep on reading!
Let’s start off with my The Body Shop purchases. TBS is my favourite store ever, so when I got an email that they had a 40% off of everything sale going on that day only I had to order something. There was a lot more that I really wanted to buy, but because I’m saving for my trip to Poland, I held back this time.
Anyway, let’s start off with the first product. First off all I bought the Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter. This is the solid version of the Camomile Cleansing Oil, which is a product I really like, and I wanted to give it a try because it seems like a bit of a nicer consistency and it (hopefully) won’t leak as much as the oil when I take it with me.
I also bought a new moisturiser. I was actually on the hunt for a new night cream, but then I found this Vitamin E Aqua Boost Sorbet instead, which seamed a little more interesting. It’s the mattifying version of the popular Vitamin E moisturiser from TBS, which I’ve always wanted to try but never did because it would’ve been way too much for my oily skin.
Next up are two hand care product. First off all I bought the Wild Rose hand cream. I just really love the TBS hand creams so this was quite an obvious choice. I also got myself one of the TBS hand sanitizers in the mango scent. I really love the smell of mango and I figured this would smell nicer than a regular hand sanitizer would.
Prices: Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter €8,40, Vitamine E Aqua Boost Sorbet €12,-, Wild Rose Hand Cream €3,90, Mango Hand Sanitizer €2,40 (these are the on sale prices).
Aside from those skin and hand care products, I also got two shower gels. The one on the right, called Atlas Mountain Rose, is one I’ve been wanting to buy for quite a while, but never really did. It’s my (and my mother’s) favourite scent from TBS so this was quite an obvious purchase.
Because my total was above 35 Euro’s, I also got a White Musk shower gel for free. I haven’t really tried many of the White Musk products, so I was very excited about that one as well.
Prices: Atlas Mountain Rose Shower Gel €6,-, White Musk Shower Gel: free (all are the on sale prices).
Next up is a Real Techniques brush set. I’ve been wanting to buy the Real Techniques Deluxe Gift Set ever since it launched. I really like that all brushes are shiny and that the handles have different colours and the brushes that come in this set are brushes that I really need or want to try.
Because it apparently was a Christmas or holiday set, it was quite hard to find, so when I finally found it somewhere I decided it was now or never and I had to buy it. I’m really glad I did!
The Real Techniques Deluxe Gift Set costs €27,95.
Next up are three not very exciting but necessary purchases. First of all I needed a new baby shampoo to clean my Beautyblender with and perhaps also for cleaning my regular brushes. I decided to go for this Lavender one by Johnson’s. It smells really nice and I really like the look of the packaging.
I also bought a new bottle of the Nivea Refreshing Toner. I’ve been using this for quite a while now and the bottle I’m currently using is nearly finished, so I decided to buy a new one.
Lastly I bought the Catrice Velvet Brow Powder. I’ve been wanting to give it a try for ages because I feel like it’s pretty similar to the powder end of my beloved Maybelline Brow Satin, and because the powder end always runs out way before the pencil end does, I decided it would be nice to have something I could use when that happens.
Prices: Johnson’s Baby Shampoo €1,75, Nivea Refreshing Toner €3,99, Catrice Velvet Brow Powder €3,99.
I also purchased two products from the new L’Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Clay range. I saw the products in a Fleur de Force video and I was quite interested. I ended up buying the shampoo and conditioner. They look really interesting to me and I have pretty high hopes. Hopefully they’ll live up to that!
The L’Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Clay Shampoo and Conditioner cost €4,49 each.
Next up is the most exciting part of this haul. That because I ordered a few amazing products from the new Zoella Sweet Inspirations collection. I’ve been a huge fan of the Zoella Beauty products, so when I heard about this new collection I immediately set an alarm in my phone so I could order them the day they were launched, which is what I did. Sadly the delivery has been delayed and after waiting for two weeks the products still haven’t arrived, so I couldn’t take a picture of them yet. Because I’m so excited about the collection I did want to share with you that I bought these products, so that’s why there is no self made picture.
First off all I got the Bath Latte, the shower gel of this collection. I really adore the look of the packaging and the label is really pretty as well. I’m very excited to give it a try!
Aside from that I also got the body lotion and the body mist from the Sweet Inspirations collection. I always buy the shower gel, body lotion and body mist of the Zoella Beauty collections, so I figured I had no choice but to get at least those three products this time as well.
But that wasn’t it. I have been wanting to try one of those bath fizzers of the Zoella Beauty collection for quite a while now, so I thought why not order one from this amazing new collection?
Prices: Bath Latte €7,92, Body Lotion €6,60, Body Mist €10,56, Bath Fizzer €6,60.
Besides ordering some products from the Sweet Inspirations collection I also stocked up on some other products, most of them are from the Tutti Frutti collection, which is definitely my favourite. I heard that the Tutti Frutti range is going to be discontinued, so it really was now or never.
The products from the Tutti Frutti range I ended up getting are the foaming shower gel, the body lotion and the body mist. Aside from that I also decided to buy the Zoella hand cream, because I was quite excited to see what it would be like and I really love the look of the packaging.
Prices: Tutti Frutti Foaming Shower Gel €4,62, Body Lotion €5,94, Body Mist €9,50, Hand Cream €7,26.
And that was everything I bought in the past couple of weeks. I hope you enjoyed reading today’s haul and let me know what you’ve been buying lately!
