Some of you might know that I’m obsessed with Chloé when it comes to perfume. I just love their scents. I always have and I’m pretty sure that I always will. Today I’m going to review the newest addition to my Chloé collection: Chloé Fleur de Parfum. If you’re curious to find out if it topped my expectations or not, make sure you continue reading!
When it comes to packaging I think Chloé just knows what she’s doing. It looks perfect. Okay it might look a little too girly for some of you, but I just love that look. It’s the perfect combination between extremely girly and classiness. It’s very simple and classic Chloé.
Even though I’m obsessed with the packaging, I could come up with a thing or two why it might not be so practical. The packaging is pretty much identical to the packaging of the classic Chloé scent so if you’re not an expert when it comes to Chloé scents it might be hard to know which is which. Another thing that is slightly less amazing is that the silver needs to be cleaned with a special product otherwise it will get kinda ugly.
So, enough about the packaging, onto the actual scent. This scent is called Fleur de Parfum which indicates that it’s a more floral scent. According to the internet this scent smells like verbena, roses and cherry blossom. Three of my favourite scents all combined into one scent.
I always think it’s hard to describe what a scent smells like, but I’m going to try it anyways. If you know what the signature Chloé scent smells like, keep that in mind and add a mixture of luxurious floral scent to that. That’s exactly what it is. It still smells a lot like the signature scent but with a floral twist.
I personally really like that this one still smells like the signature Chloé scent. It’s just my favourite scent so it’s nice to have another perfume that smells somewhat similar but with a twist. I could understand that not everyone thinks it’s a plus that it’s still quite similar to the signature scent because it is an expensive perfume and if you buy an expensive perfume you do want something unique, but for me, as a Chloé fanatic, this is just incredible.
The thing that makes these Chloé perfumes worth it for me is the fact that it’s such an distinctive smell that lasts all day. It’s strong but not overwhelming. It’s a scent that smells luxurious, feminine but not like it’s your grandma’s perfume. I love that about it!
I know this was quite a short review but to be honest, I can’t say anything else about it than that it’s just another great perfume. I love it better than See By Chloé and my boyfriend enjoys that I’m smelling like something else than the signature Chloé scent for once. To me it’s the best perfume out there and I’m really glad I finally bought it, but if you want to buy it yourself I’d recommend going to the store first ’cause scents are just very personal.
Chloé Fleur de Parfum is available at Douglas/Ici Paris for €58,90.
That was it for today’s review. I hope you enjoyed reading it and be sure to let me know which perfume is your signature scent!
XOXO, Nicole.
