Back in July I bought my first ever Charlotte Tilbury product. I bought the Instant Look In A Palette palette in Seductive Beauty. I wrote a very detailed review about it telling you guys all of the reasons why I was head over heals with that palette. And I have to say, I still am. Because I was so in love with it I decided to buy another one of Charlotte Tilbury’s Instant Look In A Palette palettes. This time I bought one called Natural Beauty. After putting it to the test it’s time for me to review it. If you’re interested in finding out if I love it just as much as I love the Seductive Beauty palette, make sure you continue reading!
Let’s start off with packaging. The Charlotte Tilbury palettes come in very classy packagings. The palette is made out of a sturdy plastic material that does feel quite luxurious. It has a shiny brown colour and golden details. I’ve heard people say that they think it’s small, smaller than they expected, but I don’t agree with that. I think it has the perfect size. It’s not too small, but it’s a nice size for travelling. On the inside of the lid you’ll find a big mirror which is incredibly handy and overall it just looks amazing.
There are a total of three different versions of the Charlotte Tilbury Instant Look In A Palette available. There’s a version with quite warm shades called Beauty Glow. There is a more smokey version called Seductive Beauty and the version I’m reviewing today which is called Natural Beauty.

The palette comes with a total of seven powders. Five of which come in square shaped pans and two come in larger, rectangular shaped pans. At the top of the palette you’ll find the three eyeshadow colours that come with this palette. These are quite natural and wearable shades, opposed to the rather smokey shades that come in the Seductive Beauty palette which I reviewed a couple of weeks ago.
The bottom half of the palette consists out of face powders. You get one bronzer, a highlighter and two blush colours. The blushes come in smaller pans than the bronzer and the highlighter colour, but you do get two different shades so that is nice too.
Overall I think that this is just the most perfect palette for on the go because it contains almost every powder product you need for a full face of makeup. The only thing you might need to bring aside from this is a setting powder, but that’s it.
Having discussed what is in this palette I feel like it’s time to go over the shades one by one. Let’s start of by discussing the eyeshadows, since those interest me the most.
1 Eye Brighten – The first shade is a shade meant for brightening the eye. At least, that’s what Charlotte Tilbury says it’s for. It’s a matte white shade with a pinky tone to it. Because of the pinky tone it’s on the cooler toned side of the spectrum and even though I do prefer yellowy highlighters, I think it’s very pretty and perfect for highlighting the brow bone. If you want to go really natural it could also look great all over the lid!
2 Eye Enhance – Next up is the only shimmery eyeshadow in this palette. This colour is what made me fall in love with this entire palette. It’s the perfect shimmery champagne colour and it has a bit of a warm tone to it. It’s quite light so perfect for creating a very natural and a very awake look and I absolutely love wearing it all over the lid.
3 Eye Smoke – Lastly we have the third colour, which, according to Charlotte Tilbury, is a colour you can use to smoke up the eye look. In other words she’s telling you it’s the perfect crease colour. It’s a matte medium brown shade but it’s a little darker than your regular medium brown, which is amazing because now you can use it as a transition colour, but it’s also dark enough to be a crease shade if you’re going for something more natural. I personally prefer using it as a transition shade, but there are definitely days where I use it as a crease colour.
Moving on to the face powders in this palette.
4 Face Bronze – The bronzer in the other palette, the Seductive Beauty one, was a bit too dark for me. I had to be very careful in order to not get a big blur of way too brown powder on my face. I was scared this bronzer would be way too dark as well, but luckily that isn’t the case at all. This bronzer is a couple shades lighter than the one in the Seductive Beauty palette and it’s also a little less pigmented. I felt like that other one was overly pigmented, while this one has exactly the right amount of pigmentation.
5 Cheek Swish – Moving on to the first blush colour from the palette. This is the darker blush shade in the palette and it’s definitely my favourite. It’s a very pretty peachy pink colour that would look good on literally any skin tone. It gives the cheeks a very natural but flushed look and I love that.
6 Cheek Pop – The other blush shade is a little bit lighter and a lot brighter. I have to say that it does look quite scary in the pan, but on the cheeks it does look amazing. Because it’s a bit lighter it really brightens up the cheeks and lifts them. I love the way it looks. Sometimes I even mix Swish and Pop together to get the best of both worlds.
7. Face Highlight – Lastly we have the highlighter. I wasn’t that impressed with the highlighter in the Seductive Beauty palette because it just wasn’t that glowy. However, this highlighter is really pretty. It’s the perfect champagne highlight shade and it adds a gorgeous glow to the skin. I adore this product!
Overall I feel like the colours in this palette are even better than the ones in the Seductive Beauty palette, and that’s an amazing product as well. These just fit my skin tone a little more when it comes to the bronzer and I’m really glad this highlighter actually acts as a highlighter on my face. It’s actually one of my favourite highlighters, I’ve been using it non-stop lately!
When it comes to the eyeshadows I’m a fan as well. Even though I usually like my looks smokey, I can appreciate how these look. When it comes to the shadows it really depends on my mood whether I’d gravitate towards the Seductive Beauty palette or this Natural Beauty palette. Both are gorgeous.
The texture of the powders is amazing too. You can feel that they are very high quality. The colour pay off is amazing and they are incredibly easy to work with. They blend so nicely!
Pigmentation wise these powders aren’t a joke either. I have to say that the highlighter doesn’t show up on the swatch as it does on my skin thanks to my poor swatch-photography skills, but I hope you can trust me on this one. Aside from being pigmented, these shadows are incredibly rich, creamy and smooth. I mean look at the swatches, you can’t tell me those aren’t the smoothest powders you’ve ever seen, they are absolutely incredible!
The blushes are very pigmented too and usually I prefer my blushes to be a little more toned down since I feel like you don’t want to look like a clown, so it’s better to build up a blush than to over apply. However, I’ve never gone wrong with these blushes. And if it’s a little too extreme for my liking, going over it with a powder brush will fix that for you.
Overall I’m just as big of a fan of this Charlotte Tilbury Instant Look In A Palette in Natural Beauty as I’m of the Seductive Beauty palette. The shadows in this palette are a little more natural and perfect for an everyday makeup look. I also love that the bronzer isn’t too dark for my skin tone and I absolutely adore the highlighter in this palette. It is stunning!
And that’s it for today’s review. I hope you enjoyed reading it and be sure to let me know what you think of this palette and of the brand Charlotte Tilbury!
