A while ago I ordered some products from The Body Shop. As most of you know by now, The Body Shop is one of my favourite stores/brands in the world and I love trying out there products. Two of the products I bought this time are the Wild Rose Hand Cream and the Mango Hand Sanitizer. Today it’s time for the review. If you’re interested in finding out more about these two products, make sure you keep on reading!
Let’s start off with the hand cream. It comes in this gorgeous aluminium packaging. I love the look of this. It might seem strange but I just feel like it looks really classic and authentic, which is why I love it so much. On the front of the packaging it has a little label printed on it with some information regarding the product.
The tube contains 30 ml of hand cream, which to me is the perfect amount. There is also a 100 ml version available, so if you like to go big on hand creams that might be a better option for you.
The Wild Rose Hand Cream smells really nice. It has a soft rosy scent, nothing too strong or too heavy. So even if you’re not that big of a fan of the scent of roses, this hand cream can still be an option for you. The hand cream contains SPF 15 and is supposed to protect your hands from brown spots and hydrate them.
The brown spots thing sounds quite interesting to me, but because I don’t have brown spots and I never really get brown spots on my hands, I can’t test that. But because it’s The Body Shop I do give them the benefit of the doubt and believe they’re not lying.
The texture of the hand cream is really nice. It’s not a super thick cream but it’s not really thin either. It’s easy to blend in to the skin and it sinks in quickly as well. It doesn’t leave a greasy layer but it does leave your hands feeling really soft and hydrated. I like it.
Overall I do think this Wild Rose hand cream is a really nice one. It’s not a breath taking product, it’s not the most special or best smelling hand cream I have ever tried, but I do really enjoy using it and I like what it does for my hands.
The TBS Wild Rose Hand Cream is available online and in stores for €6,50.
Next up is the Mango Hand Cleansing Gel. I’ve always wanted to try one of the scented hand sanitizers by The Body Shop, so I’m really glad I finally go the chance to do so.
The hand sanitizer comes in a small, 60 ml, round bottle that is perfect to take with you everywhere. The look of the packaging isn’t too breath taking, but that’s kinda what I like about it. I like how it looks so basic and still pretty classic. In my opinion it really represents The Body Shop.
The thing I like so much about this hand sanitizer is that it smells really nice but not too strong. It’s not a super strong alcohol scent with a hint of something to make it smell less terrible. It’s just a slight mango scent with a touch of hand sanitizer.
Aside from that the consistency is really nice, a little bit of this product goes a really long way. It’s easy to work with and it doesn’t take six million ages to sink into the skin which is really nice as well.
Overall I do think that the Mango Hand Cleansing Gel is a really nice product. It smells good, it does its job and it comes in a very convenient packaging. I’m a fan!
The TBS Mango Hand Sanitizer is available online and in stores for €4,-.
So overall I’m not disappointed by these two products. They both smell really good, they work really well and they come in convenient packagings which are perfect for on the go. I’m a big fan and I highly recommend giving these two products a try, especially the hand sanitizer!
That was it for today. I hope you enjoyed reading today’s post and let me know which hand care products you enjoy using!
XOXO, Nicole.
