The Body Shop: Atlas Mountain

08/04/2016

TBS Atlas Mountain Rose

Quite a while ago I first came in touch with the Atlas Mountain Rose collection by The Body Shop, and I immediately fell in love. It smells absolutely incredible and it is without a doubt one of the most amazing smelling things I have ever smelled in my entire life. I started off with buying the perfume and the body lotion, and about 3 weeks ago I bought the body butter as well. Today it’s time to review all of them. If you’re interested in reading more about this amazing collection, make sure you keep on reading!

Atlas Mountain Rose Perfume

Let’s start off with the Body Mist. The Atlas Mountain Rose Perfume comes in this gorgeous looking rectangular shaped packaging. It contains 50 ml of heavenly scent and looks super feminine. I really love the design on the back of the bottle and I love how pink it is. The packaging represents the scent really well in my opinion.

As the name already suggests, the Atlas Mountain Rose perfume smells like roses. I like the scent of roses. I’m not obsessed with it, but I love it. The thing I like so much about this perfume is that even though it does smell like roses, it isn’t too strong. Even people who aren’t that into roses, like my mom, can absolutely love it.

Atlas Mountain Rose Body Mist

Because this is an Eau De Toilette, this isn’t the strongest perfume on earth. It’s definitely one you have to touch up a little throughout the day, but for me that isn’t too big of a problem. This scent is absolutely incredible, it’s definitely worth the effort.

Overall I think the Atlas Mountain Rose perfume is absolutely incredible. It smells good, it’s not too strong and it’s a nice perfume to have. It ins’t available anymore in this particular packaging, but it does come in a bigger bottle with an even fancier packaging right now.

The Atlas Mountain Rose Perfume is available at The Body Shop for €27,- (100 ml).

TBS Atlas Mountain Rose Bodylotion

Onto the body lotion. I actually have a backup of it because I love it so much! It comes in a big bottle with a pump on top and a pink label. The label has the same kind of design on it as the perfume does and I think it’s really pretty. The bottle contains 250 ml and therefore it will last for quite a while.

The Atlas Mountain Rose body lotion is definitely one of those heavy perfumed body lotion, so it’s not something everyones skin will like too much. My mother has very sensitive skin and got a rash because of it, so if you have sensitive skin too, please be careful with this.

Because it’s such a heavily perfumed body lotion is does smell really amazing, and the smell really lasts. If you apply this in the morning you’ll still be able to smell it in the late afternoon. In my book that’s quite impressive and I like that quality about this body lotion.

TBS Bodylotion Atlas Mountain Rose

Another thing I like about it is that even though it is so perfumed, it does still add some moisture to the skin. Not as much as a non-perfumed body lotion would, but more than most other perfumed body lotions do. If you have dry skin I wouldn’t recommend using it everyday, but using it from time to time definitely won’t hurt.

Overall I think  the Atlas Mountain Rose Body Lotion is really nice. It smells absolutely incredible and it isn’t drying at all. I absolutely love using it. Just like the perfume it does come in a new packaging now, so if you go look for it, don’t look at the packaging, but the product is still the same.

The Atlas Mountain Rose Body Lotion is available at The Body Shop for €12,50.

TBS Atlas Mountain Rose Bodybutter

Lastly let’s discuss the body butter, my favourite type of body care. I saw this on sale for only 9 Euro’s not too long ago and without even thinking about it I bought it. If there is one scent in this world that I love, it’s Atlas Mountain Rose, so no way I won’t buy anything that smells like that.

The body butter comes in a gorgeous looking packaging that contains 200 ml of pure love. Most The Body Shop body butters are either very creamy or very hard. This one is definitely more to the creamy side, but it’s not incredibly creamy, which is what I like about it so much.

TBS Atlas Mountain Rose Body Butter

Just like the body lotion, the body butter has quite a lot of scent to it, but definitely not too much. It’s not as strong as the body lotion in my opinion and therefore it’s a better option for those of you who have more dry skin. I still won’t recommend using it daily if you do have dry skin, but it’s better than the lotion.

Overall I really like this body butter. Like both the perfume and the body lotion it smells really good, it’s not drying and it’s a really nice product you use every once in a while (or daily, I use it daily). I absolutely love it!

The Atlas Mountain Rose Body Butter is available at The Body Shop for €18,-.

That was it for today, I hope you enjoyed reading today’s review and let me know if you’ve ever tried something from this range.

XOXO, Nicole.
