Last week I showed you guys what was inside of my first LF Beauty Box. One of the products was this Bliss Lemon + Sage Body Butter. I was very excited to give it a try, which is what I did, and today I’m going to write a review about it for you guys. So, if you’re interested in finding out more about this little guy, make sure you continue reading!
First things first: packaging. Before I jump into anything I do want to mention I Â only have a travel size of this body lotion so the full size product might look a little different but let’s just roll with it for now shall we. The packaging looks really fun and colourful. It’s bright blue, well it’s actually more of a minty blue, and it has some yellowy lemons on it along with some text in both white and yellow. I like how fun and bright it is. It looks simple, young and fun. It’s adorable.
The little tube I got comes with 30 ml of product. The full size comes with 200 ml and at the Lookfantastic site I even came across a bottle with almost a liter of product. How cool?!
On the back of the tube Bliss tells us a little more about this product, just a little. It says that it’s a famous, fabulous, fresh-citrus moisturiser from shoulders to shins. Sounds fun and promising, but is it really true?
In my opinion it is. First of all the scent is absolutely incredible. I normally don’t like citrusy scents, but for some reason I do enjoy the scent of this product. It’s a creamy citrus scent. It’s fresh, fruity and perfect for spring and summer (and if you struggle with getting bitten by mosquito’s).
The texture of this product is really nice as well. It’s a body butter so I expected it to be quick thick and hard but it’s actually pretty creamy but very rich. It’s like a combination between a body butter and a body cream, which is very unique and perfect. It’s easy to blend into your skin like a body cream, but it moisturises your skin like a butter.
Because it’s a body butter I did expect it to be quite heavy on the skin and I thought it would leave a greasy layer on top of your skin that would take forever to sink in, but it turns out that it’s nothing like that. It’s not the most quick absorbing product, but for what it is it’s quite quick.
I’m really impressed by this little guy. I like the scent, I really enjoy the texture of the product and it adds a lot of moisture to my skin. To me it’s the perfect summery body butter. I know it’s not summer anymore, but that doesn’t mean you can’t use it. It’s a great product and I highly recommend giving it a try!
The Bliss Lemon + Sage Body Butter is available at Feelunique.com for €28,16 (200ml).
That was it for today’s review. I hope you enjoyed reading it and be sure to let me know which body lotion is your current favourite!
XOXO, Nicole.
