Recently I found out that some Lush products are cheaper on the Lush UK website. Like a lot cheaper. I decided that if I passed my thesis I’d allow myself to place an order that and as luck would have it, I passed. So, that very same night, even though I was exhausted as ** I decided to place the order I was waiting to place for a while. I was really excited about it and I ended going even more wild than I intended to. I felt like “I’m not placing an order here everyday, so you might as well get everything you want” and that’s exactly what I did. So get ready for a huge Lush haul and let’s dive in!
The very first thing I picked up is another American Cream Shower Gel from the Valentines collection. I already have one, the American Cream Naked Shower Gel, but I wanted more since this is a limited edition and I really love it. This time I decided to go for a regular bottled version because I feel like that’s a bit easier to handle sometimes. I was in doubt about what size I should go for, but since I was aware of the fact that this was going to be a huge haul, I decided to keep things neat and go for a decent 250 gram bottle. I think that’s pretty rational of me. Right?!
Also from the Valentines collection I got the American Pie Body Conditioner. This is another ‘repurchase’ since I already have the American Pie Naked Body Conditioner, but again, I love the scent. The strange thing is that apparently the naked version doesn’t have strawberries in it and the non-naked version does, so I really wanted to buy it and see for myself if that makes a difference. In this case I did indulge and go for the bigger size, but well, I deserve it right.
The next item I picked up is this The Big Banana Massage Bar. I smelled it in store and I was really impressed by how nice I thought it smelled. I ended up finding out it’s about €2,50 cheaper on the UK website and I really wanted to try one of the massage bars from Lush, so this seemed like a great moment to get one. I do still need to get a little tin to store it in since I forgot to do so while placing the order.
And that’s not it for the Valentines collection products I got. I got two more items and both are bath products. The first thing I got is the Six (Yellow and Red) Bubble Bar. At first I wasn’t super attracted to it, but after reading about it on Evelien’s really amazing blog I decided to go for it anyway. I love bubble bars so why not?!
The other bath product I got from the Valentines collection is the popular Aubergine Bath Bomb. Those who know me, know I’m not a bath bomb lover. I actually do prefer using bubble bars, but in this case I thought it was worth the try. It’s pretty big considering the price and I really like the purple bath it’s supposed to create. When I smelled this in store I didn’t really love the scent, but I am always ready to change my mind about things like that. You can always be surprised right?!
The main reason why I thought of placing an order on the Lush website is because I wanted to get a bigger size of the I Love Juicy Shampoo and the American Cream Hair Conditioner that I tried recently. And that’s definitely something I ended up doing. I got the I Love Juicy Shampoo in a 250 gram bottle. I did think of getting the even bigger bottle, but knowing myself I know I like to switch up the shampoo I use every once in a while and getting the 500 gram bottle would be too much of a commitment.
When it comes to the American Cream Hair Conditioner I did decide to make this commitment. Usually I’m a lot more loyal to the conditioner I use so I thought getting the bigger size of the conditioner was going to be worth the shot. I ended up going for the 475 gram bottle and I’m glad I did. This is going to last me for so long!
By the way, I’m obviously hooked and stocked up on these two haircare products, but if you have any recommendations in terms of shampoo’s and conditioners from Lush I’d love to know!
Okay, moving on to a couple more bath products. I feel like Lush bath products are like the best in the bizz and I’d always prefer those over bath products from other brands. Okay, just when it comes to bath bombs and bubble bars, but that’s mostly what I use when I take a bath. Okay, let’s stop rambling. The first thing I picked up is the Creamy Candy Bubble Bar. The main reason why I wanted this one is because it’s actually the first bubble bar I ever saw which was a long, long time ago. I think it’s very nostalgic.
I also got the Karma Bubble Bar. I have no experience with this one just yet and I have never seen it in real life before, but it looks so stunning to me. I love the purple and the glitter and I think this is going to create an amazing bath for me. It just has to be that way.
The third and last bubble bar I picked up is the Brightside Bubble Bar. This looks very similar to the Comforter but in a different colour. I really like the size of Comforter so I figured why not get it in another shade. I’m really excited to give this a proper try sometime soon!
If you thought that was it, it’s not. I also got three bath oils and a little container to put them in. The container has four slots and I already have one bath oil so I just needed to get three more to fill it up. The one I’m most excited about is the Polyamorous Bath Oil. It’s shaped like a heart with a couple of hearts in it and I think it looks just absolutely adorable.
The second bath oil I got is the Magnificent Bath Oil. My choice on this one is mainly based on the little demo-video they show on the product page. It looked pretty cool and the description of the scent sounded nice to me as well so that’s why I ended up going for this one.
The third bath oil I got is the Double Vitality Bath Oil. It’s shaped like a little star and from the looks of it, it really reminded me of the Rockstar soap (which I purchased as well). I really like the way it turns the bath water all pink in the demo-video and I hope it will do that to my bath water as well. I’m really excited about this one!
Then we have two products from the Sleepy range. I have been meaning to get something from this scent-range for a while now and now I finally did. Because I was already purchasing quite a lot of things, I did end up going for a small bottle but I did get a Sleepy Shower Gel. I have to admit that I do have a million shower gels so there’s literally no need for me to buy multiple big-size shower gels in one order. This 110 gram version will definitely do for now!
Along with the shower gel I also got the Sleepy Body Lotion. I just couldn’t decide which one of the two to get. I mean, I do have a lot of shower gels already, but I also don’t have a shortage on body lotions. And therefore I ended up getting them both. What a great reason! This one I did get in a proper size, the 215 gram tub because I felt like the small one would be way too small.
As I mentioned before I also bought myself the Rockstar Soap. I have a bar of this soap laying in the back of my closet and it has been there for years. It’s one of the first things I ever bought from Lush and I believe I was like 13 or 14 at the time I bought it. I’m now 21 years old, so you might be able to guess how long that soap has been there by now. Yup, it was time for a replacement. I don’t use solid soaps like that an awful lot, but for the sake of nostalgia I thought it was worth the buy.
Moving on to the last three items I bought. All three are skincare and the first one is the Enzymion Moisturiser. I have had a tester of this like 5 years ago and recently I got a tester from it again and I fell in love with it. This moisturiser somehow really does work magic for my skin and I had to have it in full size. It’s about €5,50 cheaper in the UK, so this was the right time to get it.
Along with that I also got two products from the new Naked Skincare Release. The first thing I got is this Mortal Kombu Eye Mask. I have to admit that when I first saw these dirty looking thingies I wasn’t fully attracted to them. But considering the fact I do like an eye mask every now and again and these were very affordable, I felt like it was okay to buy them. I’m really excited to give them a try!
The last item I purchased is the 7 to 3 Cleansing Wipe. It looked so cool and interesting in the demo-video on the product page that I just had to get it. I did hear that it’s not great for removing a heavy full face of makeup, but I also have tons of days when I don’t wear any or a lot of makeup at all. I think those days are great for this little wipe!
And with that being said we’re at the end of this haul. It was definitely a very big one and not something I do like every day or every week. But since I had a good occasion I felt like it was okay to place an order this big. Anyway, thank you guys so much for reading today’s post, get ready for tons of Lush reviews and be sure to let me know which items you’re most interested in!
