Big Beauty Haul: Warsaw Beauty!

12/08/2017

I just returned from Warsaw which means it’s time for a huge haul. First of all let me tell you that Warsaw is the most amazing city ever and it’s just the best place to go if you love shopping. I’ve been to so many malls filled with the best shops and the best products ever. Since I’m more into high-end beauty lately I did buy less than I used to back when I was all about the affordable makeup, but I did still end up buying quite a lot of products and I also bought a couple of affordable pieces. Aside from that I also bought some clothing so that’s very exciting too. Anyway, without further ado, let’s start showing the pieces!

Let’s start off with my first purchase. Normally I never buy things at the airport because I always feel like it’s too early to already spend a lot of money there, but I always end up regretting not getting the things I wanted, so this time I actually went for it. I bought this really pretty Estée Lauder Travel Essential Eyeshadow Palette with the prettiest neutrals in it. It has literally every shade you need for the perfect look and nothing more or less than that. I absolutely love it and I’m really glad I ended up buying it!

Moving on to the things I actually got during my vacation in Warsaw. First of all I got three products from Too Faced. The first item I got is the one I’m most excited about. It’s their Natural Love palette. From the moment I saw it on Instagram I knew I wanted it, but I wasn’t sure whether I would ever be able to get my hands on it or not. Luckily they still had two in stock so I ended up buying it and I’m really happy with it!

Estee Lauder Travel Essential Palette €45,95 – Too Faced Natural Love Palette PLN245/€57

Moving on to another Too Faced product. This is the Too Faced Lip Cremes in the shade Juicy Melons. It was on sale and I actually really liked the colour and since it’s something that had been on my wishlist for so long I decided it was totally worth it is why I ended up buying it. I really can’t wait to give it a proper try!

The last Too Faced item I bought is actually one I didn’t expect to buy. I did find it on my wishlist when I was looking through it (after buying it) but I didn’t know I actually wanted it. It’s one of their Love Light highlighters in the shade Blinded By The Light. It just looked so gorgeous and when I swatched it I just needed to have it. It’s absolutely gorgeous!

Too Faced Lip Creme PLN55,90/€13 – Too Faced Love Light Highlighter PLN125/€29

Moving on to another sale purchase. This is one of the Yves Saint Laurent Volupte Sheer Candy. I have always wanted one since I’m such a big fan of sheer lipstick but I never ended up buying one until now. The colour seems very extreme and bright, but since it’s a sheer lipstick it actually looks pretty natural on the lips. And like we’re used to from YSL the lipstick has this amazingly soft and incredibly comfortable texture that makes it the most amazing lipstick in the world!

And of course I also went to Inglot. Inglot is one of my favourites brands and since it’s way more affordable here in Poland I like to stock up on it while I’m here. The first product I got is their Brow Gel which I love a lot. It’s just an incredible product. I bought it in the darkest shade because I thought I used to have that one, but I’m not completely sure about it after all. Anyway, I’m really glad I finally got a back up of it because it’s absolutely amazing!

YSL Volupte Sheer Candy Lipstick PLN89,90/€ 21 – Inglot Brow Gel PLN27,30/€6,50

Also at Inglot I decided to get this palette with two concealers. Last year I bought one of their creamy concealers in a yellowy shade, which helps cancelling out darkness underneath the eyes, and I already hit pan on that. Therefore I decided to get a new one of that. I also got one in a skintone colour because I just really like the texture of it and I’m curious to see what it will do for my dark circles.

The last thing I got at Inglot are two highlighters. My friend was looking for a new highlighter and when she was swatching the ones at Inglot I wanted it too. They had four different shades which all looked gorgeous, but I ended up getting only two. Both of them are absolutely stunning and I can’t wait to start using them.

Inglot Concealers PLN15/€3,50 (box PLN15) – Inglot Highlighters PLN32/€7,50 (box PLN18)

Next up is something I bought at the drugstore. I had never seen this brand before but this particular product really spoke to me. It’s the Silver Highlighter from Lovely cosmetics and the packaging alone really reminded me of the Colourpop highlighters. Since it was very affordable and since it looked really pretty I decided to buy it and give it a try. I’ll definitely review this soon and tell you guys if it’s a real budget steal or a big disappointment.

Another product I got at the drugstore is a foundation from Revlon. I think I’ve been wanting this foundation for over five years and I’m so glad I finally did it. It’s their Colorstay foundation for combination to oily skin in the lightest shade. It seemed fair enough for my skintone and the texture of the foundation felt really nice. I’m so excited about it!

Lovely Silver Highlighter PLN7,39/€1,75 – Revlon Colorstay Foundation PLN39,99/€9,40

But that wasn’t it yet for the budget purchases. I also got myself a backup of my favourite Maybelline Color Tattoo in the shade On And On Bronze. I’ve been using it for years and I go through them so quickly. Here in Poland they are way more affordable which is why I ended up buying one.

Just like the Color Tattoo’s, hair dye is way more affordable in Poland. Last year I bought a box of this hair dye by Schwartzkopf and I really liked it, so I decided to buy one again this year. This time I did buy it in a shade lighter because it turned out way too dark last time, but aside from that I’m a big fan and I can’t wait to dye my hair with it sometime soon!

Maybelline Color Tattoo PLN16,99/€4 – Schwartzkopf Hair Dye PLN18,99/€4,50

I thought I covered all of my Sephora purchases before, but I was wrong. I bought a lot more than just a couple of Too Faced products. One of the brands I really indulged on this time is Marc Jacobs. It’s a new brand to me, but it looks really classy and interested. I ended up buying the Re(marc)able Foundation which has been on my wishlist for ages. It seemed like a really nice foundation and since it’s really white it’s the perfect foundation to mix my darker ones with.

I also bought this adorable little lip duo from Marc Jacobs. It’s a mini lipstick and a mini lip liner in a really pretty rosy colour. I’ve always wanted to try some of the MJ lip products and this seemed like the perfect way to do that. They lipstick is a little smaller than I initially expected, but I’m still really happy with the set!

Marc Jacobs Re(Marc)able Foundation PLN205/€48 – Marc Jacobs Longwear Lip Set PLN89/€21

Also at Sephora I got this little brow set by Benefit. I’ve been obsessed with the Benefit Goof Proof Brow Pencil for ages so when I saw this set I knew I had to buy it. It includes the full-size Goof Proof Brow Pencil, a Ready, Set, Brow brow gel and a mini of the Roller Lash mascara. I’m really happy to finally have the brow pencil again, it’s the best I’ve ever tried!

Lastly for Sephora I got two brushes from the Sephora brand and I also got a foot mask. The first brush is a multi-action brush which the lady used to apply the Marc Jacobs foundation on me. It felt so nice and soft that I had to buy it. The other one just looked really good to me and I really wanted to have it.

The foot mask I bought because my friend and I thought it might be fun to do that together. We had never seen something like that, but after the walking we did during our vacation we could definitely use it!

Benefit Brow Set PLN125/€29 – Sephora Brush #45 PLN69/€16 – Sephora Brush 56# PLN45,90/€11 – Sephora Foot Mask PLN15/€3,50

Surprisingly enough MAC was having a really good deal during our time in Warsaw. If you bought three products you only had to pay for two. My friend wanted a new lipstick and I also had some goodies on my wishlist so we ended up buying three things together. She got a lipstick from a limited edition collection and I got a lipstick in the shade Craving. A lot of the shades I actually wanted were sold out, but I’m really glad I ended up getting Craving because it is something different but it’s really pretty!

I also got the Select Cover Up Concealer in NW15. I have always wanted to try one of the MAC concealers and for some reason this one seemed the most appealing to me.

MAC Lipstick in Craving PLN86/€20 – MAC Select Cover Up Concealer PLN86/€20

And that was already it for MAC, but that wasn’t it yet for this haul. I also shopped quite a lot of goodies at Douglas. We do have Douglas in the Netherlands, but for some reason the Douglas here in Poland is way more amazing. I ended up buying two Bobbi Brown lipsticks, something I’ve had on my wishlist for ages. I bought one of their Nourishing Lip Colors in Suntan Pink and one of their regular Lip Colors in Brownie Pink. I’m really excited about these two!

I also got a little set from Clinique at Douglas. It contains their Chubby Lash Fattening Mascara, which I love, a Chubby Stick and an eye pencil. I’ve been meaning to try their Chubby Sticks for ages so this seemed like the perfect way to finally do so. I really like this set and I’m super excited about it!

Bobbi Brown Lipsticks PLN85/€20 – Clinique Makeup Set PLN79/€18,50

And that’s almost it for makeup, just three more products. First of all I also got an Inglot blush. One of their potted blushes. It’s a really pretty old pink shade which swatched beautifully, which is why I was so excited to buy it and give it a try. It was hard not to open it and use it during my vacation so I could take pretty pictures or it, but it was worth the wait.

The last two things I got are both from Smashbox. I actually ordered these online when I was in Warsaw. The Dutch Douglas was having a 20% off all makeup sale and normally Smashbox is excluded from that, but this time it wasn’t. I ended up buying two products that have been on my wishlist for years: the Studio Skin Foundation and the Studio Skin Concealer. I’m so excited about these two!

Inglot Potted Blush PLN25/€6 – Smashbox Studio Skin Foundation €40 – Smashbox Studio Skin Concealer €25

But obviously I didn’t just buy makeup, I also bought some other beauty related products. First of all I went to The Body Shop and I finally got the Almond & Honey Shower Gel. Because they were having a sale I actually ended up buying two, one for my mom and one for myself. I’m really happy with it and I can’t wait to try it!

Also at TBS I got their Wonderblur cream. I’ve been eyeing it for a while now and when I saw it was on sale I decided to just go for it and get it. It’s supposed to blur fine lines and pores and that sounds like magic to me, which is why I wanted to try it out so bad.

TBS Shower Gels PLN32 (for both)/€7,50 – TBS Wonderblur PLN39,90/€9

Something I like to stock up  on in Poland is Lady Speed Stick. They have it at the drugstore here and it’s a lot more affordable than it is when you buy them online in the Netherlands. Last year I bought a ton of different scents, most of which I ended up disliking, so this time I only bought the scents I knew I liked. I ended up buying five of the sticks, one of the gel kind and four rollers, one of which I bought for my mom.

Lady Speed Stick Gel PLN6,99/€1,50 – Stick PLN9,99/€2,30 – Roller PLN6,99/€1,50

Something I was very excited about was the fact that they have Bath & Body Works here in Warsaw. It’s a store I’ve been dreaming to visit since I was a young teenager but because we don’t really have it here in Europe I never managed to do so. Now I finally got the opportunity to go to one and I definitely enjoyed it. I bought quite a couple of products there that I just can’t wait to try.

First of all I got a couple of shower gels. I got two from the Christmas collection: Fresh Sparkling Snow and Jingle All The way, but I also got one from the normal collection called Magic In The Air. Along with that I bought three body lotions (one of which is for my mom). I bought the scents: Vanilla Bean Noel, Magic In The Air and Hello Gorgeous. They all smell absolutely incredible and they look really cute too!

B&BW Christmas Collection PLN15/€3,50 (a piece) – B&BW Normal Collection PLN79/€18,50

Also at Bath & Body Works I got a hand cream from the Vanilla Bean Noel collection. It smells so good and I’ve been struggling with pretty dry hands lately, so it seemed like a logical purchase. I also really adore the packaging, I mean look at it, which is always a plus for me too!

Lastly for Bath & Body Works I got two of their famous Hand Sanitisers. Both are from the Christmas collection (I know Christmas isn’t even close yet, but I just love it!). One is in the scent Winter Candy Apple and the other one is called Red Velvet Cheer.

B&BW Hand Cream PLN8/€2 – B&BW Hand Sanitisers PLN4,50/€1

And that’s everything for makeup and beauty. But I didn’t just buy makeup and beauty. I also bought a couple pieces of clothing. I’m not going to show you guys everything, but I am going to show you these shoes I got. These Tommy Hilfiger shoes. I absolutely love them. They look very clean and elegant and I love the navy colour on them. They fit just perfectly and they are so comfortable to wear. I’m really excited about them.

Another thing I’m really excited about are these new printed pants I got. I know they have been trendy for a while now, but I never really dared to get them. Luckily this vacation I found the courage and I actually ended up buying two pairs. The first ones are from Mango. These are navy with some white stripes all over them.

The other pair I got is even more daring. They are from Forever21 and they’re floral pants. I never thought I would ever wear something like it, but I’m in love with them. I mean aren’t they adorable?

Tommy Hilfiger Shoes PLN209/€49 – Mango pants PLN79,90/€19 – Forever21 pants PLN89,90/€21

And that’s everything for this haul. It was a big one but you have to keep in mind that I’ve been saving for this trip for six months and we went here to shop. With that being said I hope you enjoyed reading this haul and be sure to let me know what you want me to review!
