One of the products that came inside my last LF Beauty Box ever was the Korres Bergamot Pear Body Milk. I had heard of the brand before but I had never tried anything from it yet. Packaging wise this looked really good so I immediately started testing it out to see whether the product is as good as the packaging or not. Today I’m going to tell you guys everything about this body milk and spoiler alert: I love it! If you are interested in finding out why I love it, make sure you continue reading!
The Korres Bergamot Pear Body Milk comes in a really pretty tube. Since this came inside the LF Beauty Box this is a little travel size version, but the full size tube looks pretty similar. The tube is made out of a very nice material. It is plastic but it just has a nice feel to it. It’s designed with some interesting looking things and on the front it has a little white block with some text on it. I really like the font they used to do that. Overall I really like the tube. It’s cute, it’s simple and it does have a very professional look to it.
The main difference between the travel size tube and the full size tube is the fact that this has a screw-off lid and the full size has one that you flip open. One that’s actually attached to the tube. And also the size is different but you probably already realised that.
Korres Bergamot Pear Body Milk – €11,95 (full size)
The name ‘Bergamot Pear’ sounded pretty interesting to me, but I had no idea what it could smell like. Pear smells pretty fresh and also a bit sweet, but I didn’t know what bergamot was. After googling I found out bergamot pear is a citrussy fruit that grows on a bergamot plant. It looks pretty much the same as a regular pear so I have no idea whether they are supposed to smell different than regular pears or not, but that’s not really important anyway.
Anyway, this body milk has a very nice and also very unique scent to it. It’s something I’ve never smelled before. It’s sweet yet fresh and also a bit creamy. It’s a bit of everything and I really like the balance of it. It’s not too strong, too sweet or too fresh, it’s just very mild and nice. I was really amazed by how great this product actually smells.
Having discussed the scent, let’s move on to the quality of the product. According to Korres their Bergamot Pear body milk is intensely moisturising. It’s enriched with almond oil, which is known for its anti-inflammatory and immune-boosting effects, and also works to nourish extra dry skin and soften fine lines.
They also say that it’s formulated with soothing active aloe, shea butter, vitamins and trace elements which make this a multi-tasking body milk that provides long-lasting moisture and improves the skin’s suppleness creating an energised and full of vitality look along with a wonderful scent.
The things they say sound very interesting and promising and they’re not completely untrue, but I do think they exaggerated them a little bit. The body milk is very moisturising, it hydrates my skin in the long run and the scent does linger for a while. It also makes my skin feel supple and just overall nice. But the energising thingy, I don’t know. I don’t know how the skin on my arms and legs can look energised, but I don’t think this body milk makes that much difference on that part.
Lastly I want to discuss the texture of this body milk. For some reason I expected it to be pretty thick and heavy, but it’s almost the complete opposite of that. This body milk is actually reasonably thin, not as thin as a body lotion, but it’s thinner than a thicker body cream. It smears out really well and a little bit of it actually goes a very long way. I always think that’s a very big plus because that way this tube will last you a long time!
Overall I’m a huge fan of this Korres Bergamot Pear Body Milk and I’m actually going to buy the full size of it because I’m that in love with it. I just think that the scent is very unique and special and just something I don’t already have. Aside from that the quality of this body milk is just incredible and it has the most amazing texture ever. So, if you’re on the hunt for an amazing smelling and quality-wise great body milk, you might want to check this one out!
And that’s basically it for today. I hope you enjoyed reading today’s post and be sure to let me know which body lotion is your current favourite!
