I feel like mascara is that one product almost every single makeup-wearer wears. I also feel like mascara is one of those products you’re always on the hunt for: you always want to find that perfect mascara that makes your lashes long, voluminous, lushes and pretty. Today I’m going to share some of my favourite mascara’s that do exactly that. If you’re still looking for a great mascara it might be helpful to you. So, if you actually are on the hunt for a new mascara or if you’re just curious to find out which mascara’s are the best in my opinion, make sure you continue reading!
So, let’s start off with the first one. The first one is actually quite a shocker. I have talked about this before and I told you guys I wasn’t that into it. But guys, I changed my mind. I was running out of mascara and this Too Faced Better Than Sex mini mascara was one of the only things I had left.
I decided to give it a go since I was very desperate and oh lord. I just really like it. It really does make my lashes look very plump and voluminous and it stays put all day. I don’t know why I was so disappointed at first because at the moment I am really into it!
Another one of my top favourite mascara’s is this Lancome Grandiose mascara. It was one of the first more luxurious mascara’s I bought and it actually is the reason why I don’t really buy affordable mascara’s anymore. I’m pretty sure there are some drugstore mascara’s that are absolutely incredible, but it really can’t top this.
One of the many reasons why I like it so much is because it’s extremely easy to apply. Because of its weird shaped wand it’s very easy to work with and the chances of smearing mascara onto places it doesn’t belong is way smaller. I also really like how intense this mascara is and how pretty it makes my lashes look. It really does it all: it lengthens, it creates volume, it separates the lashes. It’s everything you want in a mascara and more!
Next up we have the Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes mascara. At first I wasn’t sure about whether or not I was going to like it since the wand is a little different from what I usually like, but lord o lord. This mascara is great. It’s quite similar to the Lancome Grandiose mascara but it’s a little less dramatic and intense.
The thing I like about this mascara is that it does create lots of volume and length, but it doesn’t go overboard. The result is still quite natural but not in a boring way. I feel like what this makes no sense at all, but what I’m trying to say is that it’s not overly dramatic. It’s pretty, it’s voluminous, but it has boundaries.
The last mascara I want to show you is the Benefit They’re Real mascara. It has been a while since I last used it since my bottle is pretty empty at the moment, but that definitely doesn’t make it less amazing. This mascara has the perfect wand. It separates the lashes gorgeously. It lengthens them. It makes them look lushious. It does everything I have ever wanted!
Another thing I really like about this mascara in particular is that it keeps the volumised look all day. It’s not one of those mascara’s that loses intensity throughout the day. So if you’re going for a fool proof look, this is definitely the way to go!
And that pretty much concludes today’s post. I hope it has been a bit helpful to you and be sure to let me know which mascara is your current holy grail, and which one is on your wishlist at the moment!
XOXO, Nicole.
