Highlighter is probably one of the most popular products in the beauty industry and I love it too. I’m not as head over heals with it like a lot of people are, but I can appreciate a good highlight. Because of that I thought it might be fun to share my top 5 favourite highlighters with you guys today. So, if you’re interested in finding out which five highlighters are my absolute favourites and why, make sure you continue reading!
Let’s start off with a very well-known favourite of mine, the highlighter I use pretty much every day, the Dior Nude Air Luminizer in the shade 001. This is and will always be the most gorgeous highlighter Dior has ever created. It looks pretty icy and pink on the picture, but in real life it’s actually the perfect champagne highlight shade.
What I love about this highlight is that it’s intense enough, but it’s not too in your face. You can build it up to be as intense as you want it to be. It’s absolutely stunning and if I could only have one highlighter this would de-fi-ni-te-ly be it. For sure!
Dior Nude Aire Luminizer oo1 – €56,90
Next up is my stunning Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick in the shade Bronze. I was in doubt whether I should go for this one or for one of my MAC Mineralized Skin Finishes, but I ended up going for the Shimmer Brick because it’s more unique and more versatile. First of all the colour of this highlight is just stunning. It’s not too basic and I like that about it.
Second of all this highlighter isn’t just a highlighter, it also looks really pretty once applied as eyeshadow. Especially since it’s such a high end item I think it’s great that you can multi-task with it.
Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick in Bronze – €49
My next favourite highlighter is a creamy highlighter. Lately I’ve been all about the cream highlight and this is for sure one of my favourite. I ordered it a long time ago because someone on Youtube said it was her absolute favourite and I’m so that that I did. This is the perfect subtle but gorgeous highlight for everyday wear.
If you do want it to be a little more prominent, you can use it underneath a powder highlight or just apply a ton of layers. Whatever you prefer doing.
Benefit Watt’s Up – €33
This next favourite is another non-powder highlighter. This is the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Liquid in Opal. Like the name already suggests this is a liquid highlighter. If there was one thing I just heavily disliked in the past it would be liquid highlighter, but this stuff is incredible.
Just like the Benefit highlight you can use this underneath another (powder) highlighter or you can use it on its own. It adds the perfect subtle but pretty glow to the skin and it stays in place all day. It’s incredible!
Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Liquid Opal – €20,50
My last favourite highlighter is by Becca as well. This is the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Opal. It’s the same shade as the liquid one but this one is pressed. I have a travel size version which makes it my go-to travel and on the go highlight but aside from that it’s also just really pretty.
This is one of the most intense highlighters I own and I like that about it. Whenever I wear this I get tons of compliments on it and that’s because it’s just the most gorgeous thing in the world. I definitely would like to have the full size version of this gorgeous goodness. It’s amazing!
Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Opal (mini) – €43
And that pretty much concludes today’s post. I hope you enjoyed reading it and you got inspired to buy some new highlighters! Thank you so much for reading today’s post and be sure to let me know which highlighters you think everyone should have!
