To be honest, it has been quite a while since I bought this body butter. I was planning on reviewing it a long time ago, but I just never ended up doing it. Only a few seconds ago I realised that and I decided it was time to review it right now. The product I’m reviewing is the amazing Balea White Passion body butter. If you’re interested in finding out more about it, makes sure you keep on reading!
About 2 or 3 years ago I bought my first Balea shower gel. The scent was called White Passion. I really liked it and in the end I fell in love with that scent. The next time I went to DM I bought the body lotion in the same scent, just because I loved the smell so much. Sadly it was a limited edition, so by the time I almost ran out of the shower gel, it wasn’t sold anymore.
Until about half a year ago. It was my 18th birthday and I went shopping in Germany with my mother and my best friend and I came across this amazing White Passion Body Butter. I was so excited I actually bought two. It comes in a regular body butter jar with a purple lid and a purply pink bottom half. It looks pretty basic, but absolutely amazing.
The body butter smells, as I expected, absolutely amazing. Just like the other two White Passion products I had tried before. It’s a warm and cozy scent, but it’s not too herbally. It’s just perfect. According to the packaging it smells like acai berries and white blossom. I haven’t smelled those things desperately before, but the combination is really nice, I can tell you that.
I knew for a fact that the Balea products were pretty great, even though they have such low prices. The scent lasts quite long on my skin, which is something most body butters, even the more expensive ones, don’t do. I’m pretty impressed by that.
The texture of the body butter is quite different than it seems on the picture. It’s actually a pretty hard butter. I personally prefer rubbing it inbetween my hands to warm it up a little before applying it so it goes on more easily, but you don’t necessarily have to do that.
The fact that it’s a hard and thick butter does show us that it’s quite a moisturising butter we’re dealing with. And that’s definitely true. This is one of the most moisturising body butters I own, so it’s perfect for cold winter days, but it’s also really nice for after swimming since the chlorine in the water can be super drying.
Overall I’m a huge fan of the Balea White Passion body butter. It’s definitely one of my favourites and I’m really glad I found it and I’m even more glad about the fact that I bought two. I highly recommend giving it a try!
The Balea White Passion Body Butter is available at DM for €2,45.
And that was it for today’s review. I hope you enjoyed reading today’s post and let me know which body butter is your favourite!
