A while ago I went shopping in Germany. At DM Drogerie I came across a few skin care products by my favourite budget brand: Balea. Because I have such a positive experience with the Balea products, I decided to give two of their skin care products a try. After putting them to the test for a couple of months it’s finally time for the review. If you’re interested in reading more about these two products, make sure you keep on reading!
Let’s start off with the first product. The Balea Clarifying Cleansing Water for Combination Skin. This cleansing water comes in a green tinted plastic bottle. The bottle doesn’t look too fancy, but I also don’t think it looks that cheap either. It’s a bit in between.
Balea has quite a few cleansing waters like this one in its collection, for different skin types. Because I have oily skin I decided this one would work best for me, but just for fun I also bought one for normal skin so I could compare the two. If you’re interested in a comparison, let me know so I can do that soon!
My German is, like I mentioned a gazillion times before, not that impressive. I’m actually not capable of reading everything it says on the back of the bottle. But from what I can read this cleansing water promises to clean the skin very well without making it feel dry. It’s also supposed to be refreshing and clarifying. It should be the perfect product for clear, clean skin.
Overall I think the claims aren’t too untrue. I think it’s a great product to remove the last bits of makeup that are left on your skin and it’s definitely a refreshing product. The only thing I’m not too sure about is the clarifying part. This product has never caused a breakout, but I’m not too sure if it did prevent one either.
Overall the Balea Clarifying Cleansing Water is a great product. It’s very affordable and does a great job for a product this cheap. I don’t think it’s the best cleansing water I have ever tried, but it’s definitely not the worst either.
The Balea Clarifying Cleansing Water is available at DM Drogerie for €1,45.
The second product I’m reviewing today is the Balea 3 in 1 Cleansing Peeling Mask for Combination Skin. This 3 in 1 product comes in a pretty basic tube with a not too special packaging. The packaging doesn’t really have too much to it, but it does have the necessary information on it.
When I bought this product I was actually looking for both a peeling and a face mask. When I saw this product was that plus a cleanser in one, I was totally sold. If this would be a good product, I’d have three very essential products all in one for such an affordable price. Isn’t that amazing?
It might sound very fun, a cleanser, face mask and peeling in one, but I can imagine you questioning yourself “How does this work?”. Well it’s actually easier than you’d think. If you want to use it as a cleanser, just do so. Get a bit of product on your hand, rub it all over your skin and wash it off. If you want to use it as a peeling, put it all over your skin, really massage it in for a while and rinse. If you want to use it as a face mask, put it all over your skin, let it dry, and rinse. It’s really that easy.
This all sounds very amazing, but the most amazing part is yet to come. The thing is that this product is actually amazing. It’s super amazing. It works so incredibly well. After using this my skin feels like a baby’s skin. It’s absolutely incredible, I really adore this stuff.
Overall I think the Balea 3 in 1 Cleanser Peeling Mask is amazing. It’s the most incredible skin care product I have ever tried and when I go back to Germany this week I’ll definitely buy another one. I highly recommend giving this product a try!
The Balea 3 in 1 Cleanser Peeling Mask is available at DM Drogerie for €1,95.
And that was it for today’s review. I hope you enjoyed reading about these two amazing skin care products and be sure to let me know if you love any of Balea’s skin care products!
XOXO, Nicole.
Beide producten klinken enorm goed! Ik ben trouwens wel benieuwd naar de tonic voor de normale huid.
