August has pretty much been my favourite month this year. The fact that it is is pretty new for me since I usually don’t like summer and August usually is pretty boring in my life. This August however was amazing. I spent a lot of time with my boyfriend and my family, I went to Krakow with my very best friend and after that I had two more weeks of vacation. Because of my extremely successful trip to Krakow I actually collected quite a lot of favourites which I’m going to show you guys in today’s post. So, if you’re interested in finding out which products I’ve been loving during the month of August, make sure you continue reading!
Let’s start off with one of my favourite purchases of the past month: my new Burkely bag. Soon I’ll write an entire post regarding this bag so I won’t go into too many detail about it right now, but I love it and it’s the perfect bag for me to take with me to school (which is why I bought it). I absolutely love the colour, I love the shape and I love how pretty and elegant it looks. It’s the best bag I’ve ever bought and I love it.
I also really love my sunglasses. These I actually got from Depop a while back for only 3 Euro’s, but it’s one of my favourite and most used items from the past month. I never thought that I was a person for sunglasses so before these I never wore sunglasses. When I saw these I decided to give them a chance and I’ve actually gotten so much use out of them. I love ’em!
Next up are some of my favourite Inglot products. Let’s start off with the correcting concealer I bought in the shade Y. It’s the perfect concealer to cancel out the darkness underneath you eyes when you’ve had a bad night rest and it just really works for me!
Aside from that I’ve also been in love with the contour powder I bought at Inglot. I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect contour powder for ages now but I could never find something that was both light enough and had the perfect undertone for me. This one is exactly that. And aside from being the perfect shade the quality is incredible as well! I love, love, love it!
The next Inglot favourite is definitely this huge eyeshadow palette. I arranged it myself and I really think I did a good job there. There colour scheme might look a little messed up but for me it works. I’ve always been a huge fan of the Inglot eyeshadows. They’re affordable and the quality is beyond amazing. It’s definitely on an Urban Decay level of quality.
I love how blendable, pigmented, intense and long lasting these shadows are. There is no need for a Color Tattoo underneath it in order for the shadows to pop, they can do that on their own and they are all just incredibly nice and perfect for everyday. I can’t say anything else about it than: I love it!
My last two Inglot favourites are these two brow products. The lady at the store recommended it to me and I’m really thankful she did. The product I’m talking about is the Inglot Eyebrow Gel Cream. It’s pretty similar to the Anastasia Dipbrow which I’ve been wanting to try for ages and I love it. It makes my brows look big, bold, intense and perfectly shaped and the product stays in place all day.
To top that whole thing off I love using my new Inglot Brow Styling Gel. I love tinted brow gels but I’ve never loved them as much as I love this one. It has the perfect size wand and it goes on and stays on like a dream. If you’re on the hunt for an actual good eyebrow gel, this is definitely it!
So, onto the non-Inglot part of this post. My first non-Inglot favourite is definitely this Benefit Soft & Natural Brows kit. I love this new eyebrow range by Benefit and I really like that they came out with these sets because it’s just the perfect way to try out some of their products without having to spend hundreds of Euro’s. The reason why I chose for this set is because it comes with the types of products I use most often and I ended up really liking it.
The pencil that comes in this set is slightly slanted and that makes filling in your eyebrows so quick and easy. It literally only takes me two minutes to fill in both of my brows while a while ago it took me 5 to 10 minutes. The gel that comes in this set and the highlighting pencil work really nice as well and they are perfect for really perfecting and finishing off the look. This set is really worth the money!
Another Benefit product I’ve been loving is their Hoola Bronzer. I bought it in a travel size because I wasn’t sure if it would be too dark for me, but it ended up being absolutely perfect. It’s perfect for shaping the face and adding a bit of colour and it looks super natural but defined. It’s definitely one of the best bronzers out there. I don’t get why I didn’t discover it sooner!
For blush I’ve been loving the Marc Jacobs Shameless blush in the shade Irresistible. It’s a very unique shade but perfect for both summer and autumn. It has a nice sheen to it that transfers into a silky finish when applied to the cheeks. The colour of the blush is refreshing and it stays in place all day!
My next to favourites are both by the Sephora brand. The first product is a concealer. I picked it up because it seemed like a good product to me, but it ended up being amazing. The thing I like so much about it is that it’s so light. I’m extremely pale so it’s really hard for me to find a concealer that is actually a few shades lighter than my skin. But to my surprise, this Sephora concealer is light enough. Aside from that it also has quite a lot of coverage and it’s super long lasting.
The other Sephora product I’ve been loving is this lipstick in the shade 52. It’s a gorgeous corally peach shade which I absolutely love, especially during spring and summer time. The texture of the lipstick is really nice and creamy and the lipstick lasts quite a long time as well. I’m impressed!
My next favourite is actually a product that has been in my collection for quite a while now. It’s the Lancome La Vie Est Belle perfume. The reason why this is a favourite is because my friend wore this all the time during our trip to Krakow and therefore it really reminds me of that trip. Because it was such an amazing trip the scent makes me really happy!
And the very last favourite of the month is obviously my trip to Krakow. I already wrote a post about it, but I’m going to say it again. It was absolutely amazing and one of the best vacations I’ve ever had. I absolutely loved Krakow and I can’t wait to go back there some day!
And that concludes today’s favourite’s post. I hope you enjoyed reading it and be sure to let me know which products you’ve been loving throughout the month of August!
