Body care is one of my favourites categories out of everything beauty related. I just really enjoy picking out a different shower gel everyday and changing up my body butters. Because of that I do have quite a wide variety of shower gels. Even though I do have a ton and I do like to change them up every now and then, there are a few I just always reach for. Today I’m going to share with you the five body care products you just have to try! If you’re interested in finding out which products I think you have to try and why, make sure you continue reading!
Let’s start off with L’Occitane. I bought this little set with the Cherry Blossom shower gel and body lotion a while ago at an outlet store. I thought it smelled really nice and the bottles looked really pretty so it was worth the try. Turns out: it was way more than just worth the try. These two products are absolutely incredible. They bring body care to a whole new level, they really do.
Both the shower gel and the body lotion have a really unique and soft texture to them. They are pretty thin, lightweight but very moisturising and they feel really luxurious on the skin. In my opinion these two products are the best if you’re going to invest in some great body care products. Totally worth it!
Next up is a body cream by Rituals. This is the Ritual Of Karma Body Cream with holy lotus and bergamot. This was a limited edition of last summer, if I’m right, and I managed to buy it on sale last December. This one first of all looks really pretty in its mint and copper jar, but it smells really good too. It’s actually my most reached-for body butter out of the million I own, so that’s quite a big deal.
The only down side to this is that it was a limited edition so you probably won’t be able to get your hands on it anymore. However it’s still worth mentioning since it’s not just this particular Rituals body cream I like. I have four and I love all of them. This tends to be the one I reach for the most, but the other body creams by Rituals are definitely worth the try as well!
Rituals Body Cream – €15,50
Onto the next product. I think this is my most shower gel of all: the The Body Shop British Rose shower gel. Let’s start off by saying that I’m totally obsessed with anything that smells like roses. I just think it smells really, really good. When this shower gel launched I knew I’d love it so I immediately ordered a bottle of the shower gel (and the body butter as well). Obviously I fell in love with it (and so did my mom) and I used it for weeks straight.
The fact that I used it for a few weeks straight shows how amazing this shower gel is. Like I said I like to switch up the shower gels I use on a, almost, daily basis. Using this for weeks in a row just means it’s the best. I even have a back-up bottle of it!
The Body Shop British Rose Shower Gel – €7
The last product I want to show you guys is a shower gel by the famous brand Philosophy. I have heard a ton about this brand and it has always been my dream to buy one of their shower gels. Even if it’s just for the extremely adorable packaging. Last December I finally decided to just go for it and I bought a bottle of this Peppermint Stick shower gel. It’s bright pink and smells really fresh like peppermint.
Even though the scent of this shower gel isn’t as incredible as the scent of the British Rose shower gel, it is a high level of greatness and I love using it. Aside from that I also think it looks very pretty so it’s a very nice product to have in your shower!
Sadly this shower gel was a limited edition for the holiday season so it will probably be quite hard to find. However, Philosophy does have a great selection of scents in their standard collection which is worth checking out too!
Philosophy Shower Gel – €19,95
And that’s already it for today. Those were the five body care products I think you have to try. All smell absolutely incredible, feel really nice on the skin and are just a delight to use underneath the shower. So if you want to treat yourself (or someone else) with a nice body care product, make sure to check these five out!
