A while ago I ordered some Sleek products, including one of the Blush By 3 palettes from the Candy Collection. It looked super fun and pretty to me so I was very excited to start working with it. After using it for a couple of weeks it’s time for me to review it. If you’re interested in finding out more about this gorgeous blush palette, make sure you keep on reading!
The three blushes come in a very typical Sleek packaging. It’s all black, has the name of the brand on it in shiny black letters and in the bottom right corner you’ll find the name of the collection. The nice thing about the packaging is that it’s super thin and therefore super easy to take with you when you’re travelling. It also has a big mirror on the inside which I always think is super convenient. So overall, great packaging.
There are quite a lot of version of the Blush By 3 by Sleek available. Most of them contain either three powder blushes or three cream blushes, but this one is an exception to that. The one I have has one cream blush and two powder blushes.
Let’s start discussing the colours. The first colour, the one on top, is the cream blush. This one is hot pink with a bit of a purple undertone. I think it’s a gorgeous colour that suits many, many skin tones and it’s definitely, colour wise, a blush I’d use.
The colour in the middle is completely different. Instead of being super bright, this one is pretty settle and natural. It’s a very pretty dusty pink with, again, that kind of purply undertone. I think it’s a gorgeous blush for everyday wear and I think it’s my favourite out of the three.
The last colour is another super bright one. Unlike the other two blushes, this one doesn’t have a purple undertone. Instead it has more of a orangy undertone. I think it’s a super pretty bright colour that could look really pretty if you apply it with a light hand.
I have to say that overall I’m not a huge cream blush fan. I don’t think it’s easy to use, I feel like I always go either overboard or underboard with it and I don’t like the feeling of it. Even though I do really love the colour, I’m afraid I won’t get a lot of use out of it, just because of that.
The other two blushes are, as I mentioned before, powder. Both of them have a really nice texture and are super easy to work with. They blend nicely and they don’t look blotchy on the skin at all. Quality wise these blushes are really amazing!
Pigmentation wise these three blushes are even more impressive. Even though I’m used to Sleek’s pigmentation standard (all of their products are extremely pigmented) I’m still quite impressed. It really doesn’t matter what you buy from them, everything is just amazing.
The lasting power is pretty impressive as well. Most blushes don’t last long at all on my skin. If I’m lucky it will stay in place for 3 hours, but that’s really it. These are way better than that. I wouldn’t say they stay all day, and it really depends on how often you touch your cheeks, but on me they stay in place for about 5 hours.
Overall I think the Sleek Blush By 3 Palette from the Candy Collection is pretty amazing. I really like the colours of the blushes, the texture is amazing and the pigmentation is incredible. I also really like the packaging, because of the fact that it has a mirror inside and because it’s so slim it’s also super convenient for travelling. I absolutely love it!
The Sleek Blush By 3 Palettes are available at Sleekmakup.com for €13,49.
