Today I have have a review for you guys about two products from the Pink Grapefruit collection from The Body Shop. Besides the lipbutter I reviewed a few days ago, I’ve never owned anything from this line. Therefore, it seemed like a good idea to try some of the products from this line. If you’re interested in these products, keep on reading!
The products that I’ll be reviewing are the hand cream and the bodybutter. I’ve read so much about the TBS hand creams, and I wanted to try one so bad. When I got an email with a coupon for 50% off 3 products, there was no doubt. I had to get the hand cream. I’m usually not that into hand creams. Mostly they are either too liquidy or too thick, and I feel like it doesn’t really make a difference, but that doesn’t mean that I can’t search for one that does work, right?
The hand cream comes in the really pretty tube. I guess it’s made from aluminium, but I’m not sure. Part of the packaging is silver, the other part is pink. The pink part is actually part of the packaging, it isn’t a wrapper. The tube opens with this really cute little black lid. I really like this system, I think it looks really good.
The consistency of this hand cream is different from what I’ve tried before. It’s thin, but not thin, but not runny. You could compare it to a gel moisturizer. I really like that because it won’t leave an oily residue on your hands. It soaks into your skin pretty quickly actually.
What I like the most about this product is that it works wonders. As I mentioned before, I’m not a huge hand cream fan, but this stuff changed my mind. After using this my hands will be extremely soft. Softer than they have ever been before. I was so amazed by the result. It’s perfection.
the The Body Shop Pink Grapefruit Hand Cream costs €5,50.
The other product I got from this collection is the bodybutter. I decided to get the travel size version because I already own way too much bodybutters, I just don’t need more. The nice thing about the bodybutters from The Body Shop is that they all have a different consistency. Some are really thick, others are quite creamy. This one is really creamy. It’s a lot easier to apply than for example the Shea version, but it’s not less moisturizing.
I really wanted to get this one just because it smells really good. It’s a nice sweet, but not too sweet fruity scent. It’s really nice. It sinks into your skin quickly, so you don’t have to wait until it’s gone before getting dressed.
The TBS Pink Grapefruit mini bodybutter costs €6,- (but is sometimes on sale for €3,-)
Over all I think these two products are absolutely amazing. They do what they should do and they smell super good. I hope you enjoyed reading this review, and let me know what your favorite TBS scent is!
