When it comes to Kiko, one of my favourite products from theirs has to be their nail polishes. I have loved them ever since I tried them and I still do. A while ago I bought two new polishes from their regular nail polish range and today it’s finally time to give them some attention and write a review about these two beauties. So, if you’re interested in finding out more about these two nail polish and/or if you want to see nail swatches, make sure you keep on reading!
The Kiko Nail Lacquers come in these really fancy looking bottles, I really love the way they look. I like the shape of the bottle part because it’s really convenient storage wise, and I like that the lid is semi-matte because that makes it feel and look way more professional and pretty.
Let’s start off with the first colour of the two, called Light Mauve. Light Mauve is a very pretty brownish purply shade. It’s a very unique colour. It’s pretty cool toned and also really neutral and sophisticated. It’s very unique and wearable for lots of occasions.
Light Mauve is also very opaque and covers within two coats, which is absolutely amazing. It’s a very easy polish to work with due to the nicely shaped brush and it actually dries pretty quickly. It’s definitely a polish I would gravitate towards if I would be looking for something quick to put on my nails.
The Kiko Nail Lacquers have a very pretty finish to them. At least the ones I have do. The finish is really glossy and shiny which is my favourite kind of finish. In combination with a gel effect finish like the Maybelline Dr. Rescue Gel Effect Topcoat it’s just absolutely stunning.
The other colour I bought is called Apple Blossom. Apple Blossom is the most gorgeous dusty pink colour. In fact this is my favourite nail polish of all time. It’s really my go to nail polish. I think the colour is just absolutely stunning and it’s just so perfect for every occasion. It really completes my whole look.
The thing I like so much about the Kiko Nail Lacquers is the texture. Some nail polishes tend to be really thick, or the complete opposite, really thin. These Kiko polishes are right in between. Because of the nice texture they are super easy to work with and quick drying.
Just like Light Mauve, Apple Blossom is very opaque as well. Just like the other polish it covers within two coats and it has this gorgeous shiny and glossy finish to it which I adore. I really like the look of this polish on my nails, which is why I have worn it like 7 times by now. I literally repaint my nails with this polish every single time it chips. It’s just so pretty!
The staying power of both polishes is pretty great. They stay in place just as long as literally every other nail polish, about 4 days. After 4 days it stays to show some tip wear, but it doesn’t really chip in a way half of your nail is gone and the other half is left, which I think is a great feature.
Overall I think the Kiko Nail Lacquers are absolutely incredible. They are absolutely stunning, they are easy to work with, the texture is nice and they dry pretty quickly. When it comes to nail polish, these lacquers by Kiko are by far my favourites, I highly recommend them!
The Kiko Nail Lacquers are available at the Kiko stores and online for €1,90.
That was it for today. I hope you enjoyed reading today’s review and let me know how you like the Kiko nail polishes and which colour is your favourite!
