Very soon I’ll be leaving for Warsaw and I couldn’t be more excited. Currently I’m busy packaging my bags for this trip which is what inspired me to write a post about it. Today I’m going to show you what makeup I bring with me on this one week vacation. I’m trying to bring as little as possible since I’m going by plane and I want to shop there a lot so I have to be careful with the weight. Anyway, if you’re interested in seeing what I’m going to take with me, make sure you continue reading!
Let’s start off with moisturiser. It was quite hard to decide which one to bring with me since my favourite one by Clinique comes in such a large bottle which isn’t very travel efficient and my other favourite one from La Roche-Posay is almost empty, so I ended up deciding to bring one by Caudalie. The one I bought back in Lille. It’s called the Vinosource Moisturising Mattifying Fluid. It’s a great lightweight moisturiser perfect for everyday.
To protect my skin from the sun I will also bring my Biodermal Mattifying Sun Fluid with SPF50. It’s my absolute favourite facial sunscreen and it also acts as a great primer so if I’m not feeling like applying a primer this will do the job perfectly.
Moving on to primer. For primer I have been having trouble deciding between bringing the Becca Backlight Priming Filter and the The Ordinary High-Adherence Silicone Primer but I ended up choosing the The Ordinary one. This is better for everyday wear since it’s not as shiny and I just really love it as a primer.
Choosing a foundation might be even more difficult than choosing any other product. I ended up going for my rediscovered favourite, the Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Even Finish Foundation. It’s just the perfect match for me, the coverage is perfect and buildable and it stays in place all day. It’s just the best choice.
For concealer I’m bringing two. First of all I’m bringing the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer and second of all I’m brining my Collection Concealer. Both of them work really well for me but because I feel like my NARS concealer won’t last for another week I have to bring other one just to be sure and also because I just really like the Collection one a lot.
For powder I’ll just bring my regular powder, the RCMA one. I did put a bit of it into this Essence container though because it’s way easier to use this way and it doesn’t take in as much space, but it’s the RCMA No-Colour Powder.
Moving on to brows. Obviously I’m bringing my new Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer. I’ve been using it a lot lately and it’s just the quickest and easiest brow product ever so obviously that’s what I’m taking with me. Along with that I’m bringing my Inglot Brow Gel which I bought in Poland last year which is the absolute best. It’s almost empty but I’m going to repurchase it first thing when I get there.
Another obvious thing is that I’m bringing my Maybelline Colour Tattoo in On and On Bronze. This is just an essential for me whenever I do makeup.
As for eyeshadow I’m bringing something I haven’t shown yet on my blog. It’s the Charlotte Tilbury Look In A Palette palette in the shade Seductive Beauty. It’s a really pretty and universal palette that includes three gorgeous eyeshadows and four gorgeous cheek products. It’s pretty much everything you need powder wise (aside from setting powder).
Because I can’t handle wearing the same eyeshadow for a week straight I’m also bringing another palette. This one is by Stila. It’s their Eyes Are The Window palette in Spirit. Soul is my favourite but because I use that one way too often and I’m trying to use something else for a change I decided to bring Spirit instead.
Moving on to the lashes. I’m obviously bringing my favourite lash curler from Nars and along with that I’m brining my new Clinique Chubby Lash Fattening Mascara. It’s a really nice and volumising mascara perfect for everyday wear. It’s also a brand new bottle so it will definitely last me all week.
As for face products like highlighter, blush and bronzer I’m not bringing anything because I’m already bringing the Charlotte Tilbury palette which includes all of those items, so that’s settled.
Lastly for lips I’m bringing two products. I’m bringing my favourite YSL Rouge Volupte lipstick in the shade Beige Blouse because it’s just the perfect everyday lip colour, but I’m also brining my new Jouer Lip Crème in Dulce De Leche because that’s really pretty as well.
And that’s everything I’m going to take with me makeup wise. It still seems like quite a lot, but for me it’s very little. I’m used to taking several foundations with me, a few different blushes and so on, but that’s just not happening this time. Anyway, thank you guys so much for reading today’s post and be sure to let me know what your travel essentials are when it comes to makeup!
