November Favourites!

04/12/2017

November has come to an end which means we’re currently in December and the holidays are nearing us. It also means that I’ve had another month to try and test new products and discover new favourites, which I am going to share with you guys today. November has been a pretty busy month, but a fun one at that. I’ve bought a ton of new products that I’ve fallen in love without throughout the month and I’m very excited to share them with you guys in today’s post. So, if you’re interested in finding out what I’ve been loving throughout the month of November, make sure you continue reading!

Let’s start off with perfume. Normally I’m not that into perfume, or at least I don’t wear too many different ones. I usually stick to my Chloe’s. However, this month I’ve gone pretty wild on perfume and I’ve fallen in love with more perfumes in one month than I normally do in a year. The first perfume I’ve fallen in love with is Roses de Chloé. My mom gifted me this for my birthday because I’ve been wanting it for so long and I’m just obsessed with it. It’s a combination between the signature Chloé scent and roses and that’s just an incredibly good combination.

The next perfume I’ve fallen in love with is by Chanel. It’s their new perfume called Gabrielle. This is a very luxurious, feminine but also fresh smelling scent and I just adore it. I had no idea that I was ever going to fall in love with a Chanel perfume ever, but when I first smelled this scent I knew it had to become mine sometime soon.

The last perfume I’ve discovered this month is by Dior, Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming. As you guys know I’m a big, big Dior fan so it has always been a dream of mine to own a Dior perfume. Well, now it happened and I’m really happy about it. This perfume smells floral but luxurious and it’s just right up my alley!

Moving on to makeup. Let’s start off with some Chanel goodies. After debating on getting it or not I finally ended up buying the Chanel Les Beiges Poudre Belle Ensoleillée. This is the bronzer from the Les Beiges collection and I’d been eyeing that for a while now and thank god I decided to order it because it is just stunning. It’s seriously one of the most gorgeous makeup products I currently own and I use it almost every single day. The quality of the powder is just amazing, the colour is perfect and I just love the way it looks on my skin. I haven’t gotten around to review it just yet, but know that that is coming up very, very soon!

Also from Chanel I bought the Chanel Le Signe Du Lion Illuminating Powder. This is an exclusive to Chanel product from their Holiday collection and from the moment I saw it I knew I needed to have it. And I’m so glad I didn’t contain myself because you guys, it is the most gorgeous highlighter in this entire world. It has the right amount of shine, the colour is basically perfect and I love that lion head on the powder. It’s just everything you could ever look for in a highlighter and more. If you do have the chance to get this, I highly recommend just going for it.

But that wasn’t it yet for Chanel, I also bought a new Chanel lipstick which I’ve fallen in love with as well. It was a little difficult for me to choose a shade in store because in store I usually tend to hate all of the shades while online I do like them. I ended up going for the shade 61 Bonheur and I’m really glad I did that. It seems to be quite a bright colour but since it’s from the Rouge Coco Shine range it does look a little more wearable on the lips. I just think it’s a great shade to add a pop of colour to the look without overdoing it!

Another lipstick I’ve fallen in love with is this Dior Addict Lip Lacquer Stick in the shade L.A. Pink. My mom got me this for my birthday and I’m really, really happy about that. It’s a very opaque lipstick with a very unique texture but it’s just absolutely stunning. I love the colour, I love how longlasting it is and I love how comfortable it is to wear.

The last lipstick favourite of the month is this Urban Decay lipstick in the shade Sheer Liar. This was a gift from my boyfriend for my birthday and that makes it even more perfect. But what’s great about this lipstick is that it has a gorgeous shade, but it also feels very nice on the lips. It is a semi-sheer lipstick but it does stay in place very long which is quite unusual for this type of lipstick so that’s a big plus in my opinion.

Next up is another holiday product. This is the Tarte Tarteist Grove palette. When I saw this palette online I knew I had to buy it. It comes with so many gorgeous colours, it comes with a blush, bronzer and a highlighter as well as a mascara, eye pencil and a liquid lipstick. It’s just a gorgeous all in one palette which made it seem like a great product to have. Aside from that I’m just a huge fan of the quality of Tarte eyeshadows and I love working with it, so if you ever find a palette with so many shadows it just seems like buying it is the most logical thing to do isn’t it?

It did take a while for it to arrive because at first I received the wrong product in my package, but after waiting for about a month it finally arrived and I finally was able to dig into it. And just like I expected this is just an amazing palette. It has a little bit of everything in it and I’ve been using it so, so, so much the past few weeks! I love it!

Moving on to some highlighters. My highlighter collection isn’t that big and for some reason I felt the need to grow that a little bit throughout November. I ended up buying quite a few highlighters, but these two are my absolute favourites out of the bunch. Let’s start off with the Nars Double Take Highlighter in Over Exposed. It’s from their holiday collection and therefore it comes in a gorgeous packaging, but what’s inside is even more special. This is the perfect highlighting shade for me, it has a beautiful glow and the intensity is just perfect. I love it!

The other highlighter I’ve fallen in love with is the Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess Illuminating Powder Gelée. This is a very summery highlighter and it is just stunning. It has a gorgeous bronzy glow to it, but not too bronze in a way it’s too dark to use on the highlighting points of the face. It’s a very buildable highlighter that could become quite intense but you can also keep it very nice and settle. I really like the look of it!

Moving on to the next holiday favourite. This is the MAC Snowball Eye Palette. This MAC Snowball collection really, really took my heart and I ended up buying quite a few things from the collection, but my absolute favourite from the stuff that I got is this Eye Palette in Rose Gold. And that is quite surprising since I actually didn’t intend on buying it. At first it really didn’t look like a palette I wanted to have. But thank god I bought it anyway because it’s one of my favourite palettes at the moment and it’s perfect for creating a nice and festive eye look!

This next favourite isn’t a holiday product, but it is a product that has blown my mind. I’m talking about the Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation. I already loves the Bobbi Brown Long Wear Even Finish foundation but this foundation you guys, it’s even better. It’s a very lightweight and breathable foundation and it makes my skin look so flawless and even without even trying too hard. It’s such an effortless product but also one that makes my skin look so incredibly nice. This foundation is my new holy grail and I can’t go a day without it anymore!

My last two favourites are these hand creams from Rituals. For my birthday my friends got me the pink one and I really, really fell in love with it. Normally I’m not that into hand cream, but this one is so nice, it smells very good and it just does a great job at making my hands feel nice and moisturised again. Because I loved it so much I decided to buy another one myself, which is why I now have two. I think these are amazing to have throughout the colder months when your hands start to get dryer!

And that is everything for today. I hope you enjoyed reading this favourites post. I know it was a full one, full of holiday collections, but those are just to die for! Anyway, thank you so much for reading and be sure to let me know which products you have been loving throughout the month of November!
