May has come to an end, which means it’s time for another monthly favourites post. In May I have been shopping quite a lot and I have discovered some great new favourites. Because I had so many I decided to narrow them down to a small selection of amazing products. If you’re interested in finding out which products I’ve been loving for the past few weeks, make sure you keep on reading!
Let’s start off with the two most amazing products, my new Bobbi Brown foundation and Lancome concealer. Ever since I started using my first more high-end foundation, the MAC Mineralize Moisture foundation, I’ve been wanting to experiment a little more with expensive foundation. I ended up buying the Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Even Finish foundation and I’m so happy with it. It has amazing coverage, the colour matches my skin perfectly, the texture is really nice and it doesn’t look cakey on the skin at all. I’m in love with it!
Because I have pretty bad dark circles I’m always on the hunt for a better concealer for my under eye area. Until now nothing has been able to really cancel out and concealer the darkness, but this concealer does actually do a pretty impressive job at that. It’s the Lancome Long Lasting Softening Concealer. It has pretty high coverage and it’s perfect for both covering up your under eye circles as well as any imperfections on the rest of your face. I love it.
Next up are two brushes from the brand So Eco. I got these from TK Maxx. The main reason why I bought them is because I thought these were from Eco Tools, which ended up not being the case. Despite the fact that these brushes are by So Eco and not Eco Tools, they are absolutely incredible, especially the one in the back, which is called the Tapered Blending Brush. It’s super soft and it’s absolutely incredible for applying powder, bronzer, blush and whatnot. I love it!
The other brush is called the Angled Contour Brush. It’s perfect for doing your cream contouring, but it’s also great for applying product underneath your eyes and around the edges of your nose. I personally really like using it to set my under eye area.
This month I also discovered a new favourite perfume. Those who know me pretty well know that Chloé is my signature scent. I absolutely love that scent. Because I love it so much I decided to buy another version of it and see how I would like that one. I ended up absolutely loving it.
See By Chloé, which is the perfume shown on the picture, is a little lighter and fresher than the original Chloé scent and it’s perfect for everyday wear. I’ve been wearing it a ton lately!
I also really love my, not very new anymore, Becca blush in the shade Damselfly. I’ve show this to you quite a couple of times already, and that’s only because it’s absolutely incredible. Aside from the fact that the colour is absolutely stunning and perfect for on the cheeks, the quality is incredible as well.
This blush is super long lasting, it’s intense but not too intense and it goes on really nicely. If I don’t know what blush I want to wear, I always go for this one. It’s incredible!
About a week or two ago my mom gave me this Kruidvat Micellair Water. She knew how I hated the Garnier micellair water and how I really wanted to find something equal to my beloved Bioderma micellair water, so she gave this one to me so I could give it a try and review it on my blog.
I don’t want to spoil too much, but I absolutely love this micellair water. It’s flipping incredible. I didn’t expect it to be this good to be honest. It removes 90% of your makeup with only one cotton pad. And I’m talking a full face of makeup here. Isn’t that incredible?
My last favourite is this Tilley candle in the scent Pink Lychee. I am obsessed with the smell and the look of the packaging. I think it looks absolutely stunning and the scent is just out of this world amazing. It smells pretty strong so your room will actually be scented if you burn this and because it’s such a big ass candle it will last you forever. I’m so glad I bought this!
And that’s pretty much it for this month. Like I said, this is only a small selection of all the amazing products I discovered this month, but I hope you enjoyed reading it anyway! Thank you so much for reading today’s post and be sure to let me know which products you have been loving throughout the month of May!
