Back in the summer of 2015 I bought my first MAC lipstick, Coral Bliss. Ever since that moment I’ve been in love with MAC lipsticks and within a few months I grew my collection. At this point I have seven. I know it’s not a lot, but I still think it’d be fun to show you guys which colours are in my little collection. If you’re interested in seeing all of them, make sure you keep on reading!
Let’s start of with my first MAC lipstick, Coral Bliss. I bought it at the Airport in London. I actually had my eyes on Sunny Seoul, but since they didn’t have that one there and I really wanted a MAC lipstick, I ended up buying Coral Bliss. Coral Bliss is a very pretty bright but also very wearable coral colour. It’s not too in your face, you can definitely wear it on a daily basis, but it’s also not super basic. It’s not like a nude.
I personally really love coral lipsticks, so that being said, it’s only obvious that Coral Bliss has been one of my favourites lipsticks for a while. I have to admit that at the moment I don’t wear it too often, but that’s mainly because at this time of year I prefer wearing either nude colours or berry colours. Once the weather clears up a little, I’ll definitely start wearing it more often.
Onto my second MAC lipstick, Lovelorn. At some point, about less than a month after buying Coral Bliss, I decided I wanted another MAC lipstick. A friend and I went to the MAC counter and I swatched quite a few colours. I really wanted to go for something nude, but not too boring.
At some point I had 2 colours on my hand I really liked; Lovelorn and Angel. I loved both of them a lot, but I decided to go for Lovelorn. Lovelorn is a very pretty purply pink colour. Just like Coral Bliss it isn’t your basic everyday nude lipstick, but it is very wearable. I love wearing it and at the moment it’s definitely one of my go-to lipsticks!
For my birthday my friends got me a giftcard which I could use to buy some MAC goodies. I decided to do so and bought a few things, including a lipstick, my third MAC lipstick. It’s called Peach Blossom and ’till the day of today it is and always has been my favourite MAC lipstick ever. Like literally EVER. For years I’ve been looking for the perfect everyday nude and this is it.
Peach Blossom doesn’t look that appealing to me in the tube, but on the lips it’s gorgeous. It’s nude, it’s wearable, but it doesn’t make me look dead or like I put concealer on my lips. For me it’s the perfect colour that goes with everyday and I love that about it. It’s absolutely stunning.
The next two lipsticks I bought at the same time. Because of a mistake in the Douglas webshop you could buy MAC lipsticks with 20% off. I decided to just go for it and buy two lipsticks. I bought Angel and Cremecup, two very popular nude lipsticks by MAC.
Angel is a very pretty pinky nude colour. It’s a bit more pink compared to Creme Cup and a bit less nude, but still Angel is the perfect nude to me. The only downside to Angel as well as Creme Cup is that both of them aren’t colours for everyone. They really have to suit you.
Creme Cup is like I mentioned before quite similar to Angel, but it’s a bit more pale and a bit less pink. I like Creme Cup a lot. It’s the perfect lipstick to wear on those days you’re wearing quite a heavy eye look and you want to keep your lips looking natural. Aside from that it’s also just a great colour to wear on a daily basis. It’s looks very neutral, but it does add that extra touch to your look.
Then we have a very special one, Ruby Woo. I actually won Ruby Woo right before Christmas. I was very excited to win it since it’s a colour I adore, but not one I would buy myself. That because it has a Retro Matte finish and I’m not such a big fan of the feeling of that. Aside from that I also don’t wear red’s too often, so I wouldn’t spend almost 20 Euro’s on one myself.
But the thing is that Ruby Woo is actually gorgeous. It’s actually the perfect red colour for me. Literally every time I wear it I get compliments on it and in general this colour makes me feel very confident. Ruby Woo is absolutely stunning and I highly recommend giving it a try!
And lastly we have a limited edition lipstick by MAC. It’s from the Ellie Goulding collection and it’s called Without Your Love. I bought this while I was waiting for my boyfriend and I had nothing to do. I decided to just quickly hop by Douglas and see if they had anything special. That was when I came across this beauty.
Without Your Love is my favourite lipstick, aside from Peach Blossom, to wear on a daily basis. That because it has an amazing texture, it’s shiny, glossy and creamy, but still pigmented at the same time, and it’s very pretty and neutral. I don’t think it’s still available, but if you manage to get your hands on it, definitely do so!
And that was it. Those were all of my MAC lipsticks. I hope you enjoyed reading today’s article and let me know which MAC lipsticks you own!
