My July LF Beauty Box just came in a couple of days ago which means it’s time for another unboxing! This months theme is ‘Pretty In Paradise’ and the box is looking very festive and holiday-like. All though I really like the theme and the box, I had no clue what would come inside a box called ‘Pretty In Paradise’, which made me even more excited to open it up. Anyway, I’m going to stop rambling and start talking about the products that are inside. If you’re interested in finding out what’s inside this months LF Beauty Box, make sure you continue reading!
Let’s start off with the first product that caught my attention. It’s the Imedeen Beautiful Skin Begins Within Advanced Beauty Shot. It comes in an adorable tiny bottle and I have absolutely no clue at all what this could be. Beauty shot sounds like something you have to drink and because of their slogan I strongly think I’m right about that assumption.
I ended up looking up what it actually is and I found out I was right. It’s a small bottle filled with a fluid that is supposed to make the skin healthier from the inside. I feel like that’s a very good thing, but I’m not that sure about drinking this beauty shot. I have no idea what’s in it and how my body will react to it so I’m probably not going to take it, but it’s nice that it’s in here for those who do like to take beauty shots.
Imedeen Advanced Beauty Shot – €39,95 for 10, this is 1 so €4
Moving on to the second product which is a makeup product. Quite a large one actually. It’s the Hot Makeup Bronzin Powder. I have never heard of the brand and to be completely honest with you guys I don’t dig their packaging, but bronzer is always nice to have. From what I read I guess this is a Polish brand which is really cool, but it is quite hard to get your hands on from other countries, which does make it feel like a special product to have.
But I do have to say that the shade is pretty dark for me and it does have quite a warm undertone so I’m not sure whether that’s going to look good on my skin at all. However, since it’s such a hard to get brand, I will give this a try sometime soon!
I couldn’t find this product anywhere online so I have no clue what it’s worth
Moving on to the third product which is another makeup product. This one is by the brand Bare Necessities and it’s a highlighting pencil in a bit of a peachy/pinky shade. I don’t know why but I do feel like I know this brand. The name sounds very familiar to me. However, I have never tried anything from the brand before, so in a way it’s still a new brand for me ready to be discovered.
The fact that the pencil has a bit of a peachy shade does confuse me a little. I mean if it’s meant to be a highlighting pencil for areas such as the highest part of the cheeks, the brow bone and the cupids bow this isn’t really a colour I like to use there. However, if it’s meant to act as a highlight for the under eye area it might actually be really pretty.
Bare Necessities Highlight Pencil – €15,75
Next up is a product by the brand Cowshed. It’s a brand I’ve never tried before, but I’ve always wanted to. It seems to be quite a luxurious brand and I like the look of that. The product I received is their Chamomile Refreshing Toner and I’m really happy with that. Toners always come in handy, especially travel size one during the summer when we’re on the go a lot.
According to Cowshed this toner is revitalising, alcohol-free and it’s supposed to remove surface impurities and it prepares the skin for moisturising. All together it sounds like a really amazing product and I honestly can’t wait to give it a try!
Cowshed Chamomile Refreshing Toner – €19,45 for 250ml, this is 50ml so €3,89
Moving on to the next item. This is the Mimitika Face Sunscreen with SPF 50. I have never heard of the brand before but the packaging is just absolutely adorable. It comes in a really cute tiny white jar with the cutest design on the front. I fell in love with that from the moment I saw it! The fact that it has SPF 50 in it is also really great and I like that it’s meant to be used on the face.
When it comes to the brand it’s, again, completely new to me. I have never heard of it and I’ve never seen it anywhere. But my first impression is pretty good. Soon I’m going to actually test the product thoroughly and I will get back to you to let you guys know what I really think of it!
Mimitika Face Sunscreen with SPF 50 – €16,95 for 50ml, this is 10ml so €3,39
Onto the next product. This is the Regenerate Enamel Science Advanced Toothpaste. I have to say I was pretty surprised to find a toothpaste inside this box because that’s a product I just never expected to receive in a beauty box. However, everybody needs toothpaste a couple of times a day so it’s never a bad thing to receive an extra tube of toothpaste.
The brand is unknown to me, but from the looks of it I think it’s quite a professional brand. I’m actually pretty excited to give it a try and to find out if it’s a toothpaste I like and what it does for my teeth.
Regenerate Enamel Science Advanced Toothpaste – €12,45 for 75ml, this is 14ml so €2,32
The last item that came inside the July LF Beauty Box is by the brand Moroccanoil. It’s a very popular and well known brand and I have to admit that I’ve always wanted to try some of their products, but I never ended up doing it. The product I received is their Hydrating Styling Cream. To me that sounds a little vague, especially since I’m really not that into hair and I hardly ever do anything to it, but it does sound fairly interesting.
According to the tube this is going to enhance the manageability of the hair and it’s also going to add definition. That does sound really great. Even though I never really go anything to my hair, I’m going to test this really soon just because I’m so excited I finally have something from Moroccanoil!
Moroccanoil Hydrating Styling Cream – €29,95 for 300ml, this is 75ml so €7,49
€36,84 + Bronzing Powder
All together I have to be honest and tell you guys that this might be the most disappointing box ever. There are a couple of products in there I’m reasonably excited about, but not a single product that I would’ve actually bought on my own. Not because I don’t want to spend my money on it, but because I’m just not interested enough. Aside from that I also think that the total worth it a huge let down since they claim it’s worth over 60 Pounds. It might be if you get the full sizes, but since these are only sample sizes I don’t think it’s fair to calculate the worth acting like you get all full size products.
Anyway, that’s it for todays unboxing. Sadly it was a little bit of a disappointing one so let’s hope the next one will be a lot better! Thank you so much for reading and be sure to let me know what you think of this box!
