It’s time for the most exciting LF Beauty Box of the year: the December edition. From the second I subscribed to this box I just couldn’t wait to see what would be in this box and today is the day I’m going to find out. If you’re just as curious as I am to find out what’s in this months #LFXMAS box, make sure you continue reading!
Okay, first things first; the design of the box. Well it’s rose gold so it’s pretty obvious that I like it. I still am aware of the fact that it’s ridiculous to care so much about the design of the box, but honestly it’s one of my favourite things about this whole beauty box thing. It’s just gorgeous.
The theme of this month’s box is obviously Christmas. This box is therefore filled with lots of products that will make you look all glamorous from top to toe during this super exciting holiday season. I have no clue what to expect, but let’s dive into it and find out together!
The first item in the box is already super exciting. It’s the Illamasqua Hydra Veil. I saw this on the sneak peak and it made me so excited about this box. I have never tried anything by Illamasqua but it always seemed like such an amazing brand to me. I can’t wait to give this a try.
By the way, the Illamasqua Hydra Veil is a combination between a hydrator and a primer. It hydrates and smoothes the skin at the same time and it prepares your skin for the makeup you’re (possibly) going to put on top of it. I was in desperate need for a new primer so I’m really excited to find out what it’s like!
The Illamasqua Hydra Veil costs €39,95 for 30ml, this is 6ml so €7,99.
The next item in this month’s box is the Balance Me Pure Skin Face Wash. This is a cleansing, balancing and refreshing face wash for normal to combination skin. I really like and appreciate that products like this one come inside this box. I really like using face wash and even though I’ve never heard of this brand before I feel like this is going to be a really good one.
On the packaging it also says that this product is 99% natural and that’s always a big plus. I have to admit that I never really look or specifically care a lot for those things, but I definitely don’t hate it!
The Balance Me Pure Skin Face Wash costs €12,95 for 125ml, this is 50ml so €5,18.
Next up is the Philip Kingsley Elasticizer. When I first read the name I had no clue whatsoever what this was and what it was meant to do. After reading the packaging, the little magazine that comes with it and the description online I found out it’s actually a hair product.
I usually don’t really like using any hair product that isn’t the one I always use because I have very difficult hair and most shampoo’s/conditioners make my hair super greasy, but I still want to give this a try.
The Philip Kingsley Elasticizer costs €20,95 for 75ml, this is 40ml so €11,17.
Next up is a really cute bath product. It’s the Bubble T Bath Fizzer. I have heard of this brand before, I actually got a hand cream from them in a beauty box I was previously subscribed to and I liked that a lot. I don’t take baths very often, but when I do I like to use things like this to make it a little more fun.
The bath fizzer comes in the scent hibiscus & acai berry tea. It’s a very unique combination but since it’s pink I guess it’s all going to be fine. I can’t wait to put this into my bath sometime soon!
The Bubble T Bath Fizzer costs €3,85 for 180g.
Onto the next product. This is the Coq10 Caviar Face Mask. It comes in one of those very simple bags and I personally don’t really like the look of it. However, it does look like a product that could do a lot for my skin so I’m still very curious to give this product a try, despite of the way it looks.
The Coq10 Caviar Face Mask by the way is a mask that will hydrate your skin and provide a deep level of repair to help moisture, protect and revitalise the skin.
The CoQ10 Caviar Face Mask costs €6,45.
And the very last product that came inside this month’s box is the Mellow Matte Lipstick. I have never heard of this brand before but I already really like the name! Because this is a Christmas themed box I already expected it to come with at least one lipstick in a bit of a festive shade and I really like that they actually did that!
The shade I received is called Madness. Madness is a bright red shade that is absolutely perfect for Christmas. I’ve already given it a try and it looks really good in combination with my skintone so I’m already a big fan of this!
The Mellow Matte Lipstick costs $13,-/€12,19 for
Total worth: €46,83!
And that’s pretty much everything that came inside this month’s Look Fantastic Beauty Box. Like every month I’m really glad I’m subscribed to this box because I really like and enjoy the products that come inside and I can’t wait to see what’s in next month’s box!
The LF Beauty Box is available at Lookfantastic.com for €13,95 per month.
That was it for this month’s unboxing. I hope you enjoyed reading today’s post and let me know which product you like the best!
