Eyeshadow has always been one of my favourite makeup products, along with foundation. Throughout the years I’ve tried and tested many eyeshadow palettes and I’ve collected quite a lot. Because I always like to see collection videos and posts I figured some of you enjoy those posts too, which is why I decided to share my eyeshadow palette collection today. If you’re interested in finding out which eyeshadow palettes I currently own, which ones are my favourites, which ones I don’t like so much and things like that, make sure you continue reading!
Let’s start off with some of my Catrice palettes. Catrice doesn’t really do big palettes so these aren’t huge, 12-pan palettes, but I do store them in my palette basket. First of all I have two duo’s. The one in the bottom right corner with the dark brown and the gold is one of my first eyeshadow duo’s ever. I used to wear this all the time. I put the gold all over the lid and the brown in my crease and I was good to go. Gosh I loved that little duo so much!
The other duo in the top left corner is from an old limited edition. I bought this at one of those stores where they have products that are left over and this was one of those products. It comes with a really pretty rosy colour and a purply brown and I love that as well.
The other two palettes come with six shadows and are from the Absolute range. I have the Absolute Nude and the Absolute Chocolates. I like both, but I don’t use them too often anymore.
Moving on to Too Faced. Too Faced has always been one of my favourite brands when it comes to eyeshadows because their natural eyeshadows are just the prettiest and the quality is phenomenal. The first ever Too Faced palette I got is the Natural Eyes palette, which is the one on the right. I still use this quite often and I love it to death. It looks absolutely adorable and the shadows are just gorgeous!
The other palette, which is the Chocolate Bar palette, is my second ever Too Faced palette. It’s the first Chocolate Bar palette Too Faced ever launched and it’s stunning. It smells incredible and it comes with a ton of lovely shades which are extremely pigmented. I have to say that I don’t use it as much as I used to nowadays, but I still love the crap out of it!
Within the last 3 months I added two more Too Faced palettes to my collection. Recently I bought the Too Faced Natural Love palette, which had been on my wishlist since Too Faced announced it. It’s pretty much the most amazing neutral eyeshadow palette out there since it’s filled with 30 neutral shades with both pinky, purply and more warm tones. It’s stunning and one of my current favourite palettes!
The other more recent Too Faced palette I have is the Too Faced Funfetti palette. I bought this back in Lille with my mother and I like it as well. It’s filled with both neutral and bright colours and even though I don’t use bright colours that often, I do like that. It’s always nice to at least have some brighter shades in your collection and the neutrals are just stunning!
Moving on to another one of my favourite eyeshadow brands which is Stila. I discovered the Stila Eyes Are The Window palettes a couple of years ago and I’m still all about it. I’m pretty sure that if I’d ever use them up, especially the one on the left, I’ll buy another one. It’s just the most perfect everyday eyeshadow palette and the fact that I’ve been using it non-stop for years does mean a lot. The palettes are both from the Eyes Are The Window collection by the way and they’re called Soul and Spirit.
The palette on the bottom, the smaller one, is from the Christmas collection of 2016. It’s a palette that comes with five different neutral shades and it’s just as gorgeous as the other two. I used to take this with me whenever I’d sleep away from home, but because I have many more travel palettes now I don’t take it with me as much anymore.
Moving on to my beloved Dior eyeshadow palette. My boyfriend gifted me this last Christmas and I’m still so happy that he did. He chose this palette all by himself, without me giving him hints whatsoever. I think that’s very impressive for a guy who has never been in contact with makeup in his entire life. It’s one of the prettiest palettes that I own and I love wearing the shades. The quality is just amazing and it’s just one of my fool-proof palettes.
The other palette shown on the picture is a very recent one. It’s the Estée Lauder New Neutrals Eyeshadow Palette. I bought it at the airport before we went to Warsaw and gosh I’m happy that I did. The pigmentation of these shadows is just phenomenal. The shades are gorgeous as well and it’s just the perfect palette for on the go.
Next up is a little throwback. Those who have been in the beauty world for a while are probably very familiar with this palette. This is the 88 Warm Palette. Back in the day these 88 palettes were all the range and everyone had them. Nowadays we have the Morphe palettes, which really do remind me of these 88 palettes.
This was one of my first big eyeshadow palettes and I got it from my mom for my birthday. I have used this little guy so, so, so often. I’ve created so many looks with it. Even though I don’t use it a lot nowadays, I still like to keep it because it was such a big deal to me back then and also because I still think that it has some amazing looking shades in it.
Next up is an eyeshadow palette from MUA. I used to have 10 of the MUA palettes, but because I realised that was a little extreme and I didn’t use them a lot anymore I sold quite a lot of them. The only one I currently own is the MUA Hall Of Fame palette. I haven’t used it a ton and I don’t really use it currently, but I do like to hold on to it in case I want to do a budget makeup look or whatever.
I also have two little eyeshadow palettes from Pixi. I believe I got both from my mom. I used to love Pixi a couple of years ago and even though these aren’t my most used palettes at the moment, I still love them. The shades are stunning and the quality of the shadows is great as well!
Then we have two eyeshadow palettes by Sleek. Sleek used to be all the rage back in the day when it came to their eyeshadow palettes. Everyone had them, everyone was talking about them and obviously I wanted some of them as well. I ended up getting two: the Storm palette and the Eau Natural palette. Both are gorgeous palettes with some stunning natural eyeshadows in them, but I never really reach for them anymore.
The Storm palette used to be my favourite and as you can tell I have used it quite often. Even though these aren’t my most used palettes I do think the quality is exceptional and therefore I’d highly recommend checking them out if you don’t have a lot of money to spend on eyeshadow or if you just don’t want to spend a lot of money on it!
Next up are some more affordable eyeshadow palettes. These are some of the Tanya Burr Cosmetics eyeshadow quads. I bought them not too long ago and I have to say I really like all three of them. I got the Enchanted Eye Palette, the Galaxy Eye Palette and the Fairytale Eye Palette. All three come with four gorgeous and wearable eyeshadow colours that I love wearing.
The quality of the shadows is pretty impressive considering these palettes are only €7 and the packagings looks absolutely adorable. I really like these palettes!
Then we have the New CID Cosmetics Natural Wardrobe palette. I bought this a long, long time ago when I just started getting into eyeshadow palettes and even though I didn’t want to admit it back then I don’t really like it. I quickly found out this actually is a dupe for the Urban Decay Naked Palette, which I already owned by then, so I didn’t get a lot of use out of it.
During my vacation in London with my mom a couple of years ago I bought this eyeshadow quad from the clothing store NEXT. I don’t really know why I bought it because I haven’t used it too often, but it’s nice. It’s not something I gravitate towards very often, but it’s okay.
Next up is the Kiko Daring Game Eyeshadow Quad. This is another limited edition palette and I did get a lot of use out of this. The shades are super pigmented, way better than the normal Kiko eyeshadows and the shades are stunning.
Lastly we have the The Body Shop Shimmer Cubes. I bought this about 5 years ago, maybe even longer, and back then I did use them a couple of times, but I quickly realised it’s not something you use without using some shadows from another palette. Despite that the shades are really pretty.
Moving on to the last affordable eyeshadow palettes. First of all I have one of the Essence Quattro Eyeshadows. I don’t know why but a while ago I really wanted to have it so I bought it. I did use it pretty often and I do think that it’s a very pretty quad. The shades are pretty pigmented for what they are and they allow you to create a gorgeous eye look using only those four shadows so for me that’s a big plus.
The palette next to it is the Essence Smokey Eyes Set. I love this one you guys. The shadows in it are absolutely stunning and even though it’s not a palette you can use on its own I still think it’s amazing and I do use it every now and then!
Lastly for the budget eyeshadow palettes I have the Alverde Eyeshadow Quad in a pinky shade. I had been eyeing this for quite a while which is why I bought it. It’s a pretty okay palette, but it’s definitely not my all time favourite. The quality is nice so if you do have a little less to spend it’s definitely a great buy, but it’s just not my favourite.
Moving on to the first luxury eyeshadow palette. This is the Nars And God Created The Women Eyeshadow Palette. I got this from my mother last Christmas and I absolutely love it. On the picture it seems like I’ve never used it, but that’s because this is the picture from the review because I forgot to take a picture of it for this post! In fact I’ve used it a ton already!
The palette comes with six natural shadows that together are perfect for creating a gorgeous everyday eyeshadow look. Since there’s also a darker shade in here you’re also able to create something more smokey with this palette. I love it a lot!
Moving on to some of my Urban Decay palettes. Back in the day I was absolutely obsessed with the Urban Decay Naked Palettes. I got the Naked 1 from my mom for my birthday and I bought the other two myself. I was so thrilled when I received them, even when I ordered them I was extremely excited. These were super popular at that point in time and they were absolutely stunning.
The quality of the Naked palettes is just exceptional. All twelve colours are very pigmented, easy to blend and have great colour pay off. The shades are really pretty too in all three palettes and overall these are just absolutely incredible. They aren’t as popular nowadays as they used to be a few years ago, but I’d still recommend them!
Aside from the traditional Urban Decay Naked Palettes I have two other Urban Decay palettes as well. First of all I have the Urban Decay Naked On The Run palette which comes with five shadows, a bronzer, a blush, a highlighter, a lipgloss, a mini eye pencil and a mini mascara. It’s a very versatile palette and I do really like it. It’s a little big and chunky, but it’s stunning!
The other Urban Decay palette I have is from the Gwen Stefani collab. I was so thrilled about this and I used it so much when I just got it. For some reason I forgot about it a little bit, but seeing it again makes me feel like I should start using this palette more often again!
Then we have two of my Charlotte Tilbury palettes. A while ago I heard someone say that these are incredible so I ended up buying one. The first one I got is the one on the left which is called the Charlotte Tilbury Instant Look In A Palette in Seductive Beauty. IT comes with three stunning shades of eyeshadow, a bronzer, two blushes and a highlighter. The quality of this palette is incredible and it’s just the perfect palette for on the go.
The other one I bought more recently. It’s also from the Charlotte Tilbury Instant Look In A Palette collection, but this one is in the shade Natural Beauty. The shades in this palette are a little more natural and toned down, but still absolutely stunning!
Moving on to MAC. Last Christmas I bought my first MAC eyeshadow quads. From the Mariah Carey limited edition to be exact. I first bought the one in the middle, but not too long after getting that I also bought the other version. I was so in love with these quads. Not just because of the packaging, but also because of the amazing shadows. They’re just absolutely incredible!
The other quad is one I put together myself. I had two MAC refills laying around and I felt like it was time to finally put them in a quad. Because I only had two I bought two more shades to fill up the palette and this is the result. The palette includes: Woodwinked, Satin Taupe, Sumptuous Olive and Cranberry. All four are stunning!
Then we have some Inglot. Well, a lot of Inglot. When Inglot still had a store in Eindhoven I bought my first two Inglot shadows. I was over the moon and I used them everyday. The quality was incredible but they weren’t too expensive. I believe I only paid 20 Euro’s for the entire thing. Not long later I obviously wanted more, which is when I bought the little trio of eyeshadows.
When I went to Poland last year I went all out. Inglot is a lot cheaper there so I decided to go wild and create a huge palette of Inglot shadows. Now I have to say it’s not a very convenient palette when it comes to travelling, but the shadows in there are just stunning and very, very high quality. Inglot shadows are just the best!
Moving on to this little Benefit set. I believe my mom gifted me this a couple of years ago and it was my first ever Benefit product. I really liked the fact that I got so many different things in it, but I quickly realised that, even though it seemed very convenient to have everything together, I don’t gravitate towards it too often. The three shadows in this palette are really pretty, but I’ve hardly ever used them.
Next to it is the Smashbox Full Exposure Eyeshadow Palette. I bought it because I thought it was amazing and even though the quality is incredible, I just don’t use it that often. I don’t know what it is about it, but it’s just not my favourite palette on earth.
Moving onto my last favourite eyeshadow brand: Tarte. The first ever Tarte palette I bought is the Tartelette In Bloom palette (top left corner). It comes with some gorgeous natural shades and the quality is phenomenal. Later I bought the Eyes & Cheeks palette which is next to it and comes with just as amazing shadows.
The palette in the bottom left corner is the Tarte Young, Wild & Free palette and is one of my least used Tarte palettes. That’s not because I don’t like it, but because I’ve actually forgotten about it a little bit. I should start using it again, it’s really pretty!
The round palette is from the Showstopper palette. It comes with six shadows, a highlighter, a bronzer and a blush. I think this is an amazing palette for on the go and I’ve used it a lot. I actually took it with me to Krakow last year and I’d do it again. It’s stunning!
The very last palette I’m showing you today is the Tarte Colour Vibes Amazonian Clay Eyeshadow Palettes. It’s a very big and chunky palette that comes with a ton of stunning shades all of which are incredibly pigmented. It’s one of my favourite palettes and my go-to on days I feel like experimenting a little bit with my eyeshadow. I absolutely adore this palette!
And that was my entire eyeshadow palette collection. I hope you enjoyed seeing what’s in my collection and be sure to let me know which palette is your favourite and which one you’d recommend to me!
