April has been quite a busy month for me, which is something I say nearly every month. In April I haven’t had the chance to try out lots of new products, because I did my first no-buy month part of this month. Even though I wasn’t able to buy a lot I still managed to discover and rediscover some new or old favourites. Today it’s time to share with you which products I’ve been loving throughout the month of April. If you’re interested in finding out which products I’m talking about, make sure you keep on reading!
Let’s start off with some skincare. This month I started using one of my favourite skincare products ever again: Bioderma. I already finished one 500 ml bottle of it and now I’ve started using my last backup. I tried to find other products that are just as good but easier available than Bioderma, but it just didn’t work out. Nothing out there comes even close to Bioderma.
For those of you who don’t know, Bioderma is a brand that creates the most amazing micellair water. Their micellair water is so amazing that with just one (maybe two if you wear very dramatic makeup) cotton pads it and a bit of product it will remove all of your makeup. Literally everything. And the thing I love most about it, it doesn’t leave you with that greyish ‘I just removed my mascara’ look underneath your eyes.
Next up is a deodorant by Rexona. I’ve never been a fan of Rexona and I’ve never loved the scent of any of their deo’s, but because I reached the 50.000 steps on my Etos app thingy, I could get one for free, so I decided to give them one last chance. And turns out, I love it. I’m still not the biggest fan of the scent, but it’s not bothering me too much, and it works like a charm. I never felt like spray deo’s made any difference, but this one actually really keeps you from sweating. I’m impressed!
Then we have another old favourite of mine, the Zoella Let’s Spritz Perfumed Body Mist. I absolutely love this. I have loved it since the day I got it and I still do. The scent is just so perfect for everyday. It’s fresh, it’s sweet and it makes me feel happy and alive. It’s also quite a strong scent that lasts all day and the bottle looks just absolutely adorable.
Onto lips. My first lip favourite of the month is the L’Oréal Rouge Caresse lipstick in Dating Coral. I’ve mentioned this about six million times on my blog. Not because I only have one lipstick, but because it’s just incredible. Especially this colour. If you feel a little down or just under the weather and you look like that too, put this on and you will look like a million bucks. It really brightens up your look and basically your whole appearance and it instantly makes you feel fresh and awake. I love it!
My other lip favourite is my MAC Ellie Goulding Lipstick in Without Your Love. It’s such a comfortable lipstick to wear and the colour looks good with basically everything. It’s the perfect everyday lipstick that will look great on any time of the day and for every occasion.
Next up is another product I rediscovered, like most favourites this month. It’s the L’Oreal Infallible 24H Matte Foundation. I used to wear this all the time, but when I got my MAC foundation I forgot about it. A while ago I finally decided to use it again and I really liked it. It’s not as good of a match as my MAC foundation, which is why I prefer using the MAC one, but it does have a really nice finish and it wears beautifully.
I also started using my MAC blush in Dainty again. Everyone is so positive about it all the time, but I never really understood what the fuzz was about. I have had this blush for like 4 years now and I do think it’s pretty, but it’s just not a blush I would wear every single day. But now that I’ve started using it again I realise I do like it more than I thought and I gravitate towards it more and more.
Onto the last two products. The first product is this Smashbox brush that came in my Smashbox Full Exposure palette. Usually brushes that come in palettes aren’t too amazing, but this one is, especially the fluffy blending side. I really like how fluffy it is. It’s the most perfect brush to apply your transition colour with in the entire world. I believe they sell it individually too, but I guess you get a better deal if you but the Full Exposure palette.
My last favourite of the month are the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencils, specifically in the colour Stag. I use these pencils on a daily basis and that’s because they are just incredible. They last so long and they don’t smudge on me at all. They’re basically the best eye pencils ever created.
And that was it for today’s favourite post. I hope you enjoyed reading it and let me know which products you’ve been loving lately!
